Joey Tribbiani/Ross Geller {Barbados}

Synopsis: When accompanying her boyfriend Ross to Barbados with their friends, Y/N begins to feel like she isn't good enough for Ross and finds comfort in the arms of Joey. (Storyline will not be exact to the episode)

Every since Charlie came into the picture, you began to feel like you weren't good enough for him. You felt like she was a lot smarter than you and to you, it seemed like Ross was more attracted to Charlie because of her profession. The way he went on and on about how intelligent she was, made you feel dumb. Currently, you were on your way to the hotel in Barbados where Ross was doing his speech. The whole way here, he had spoken to Charlie and practically ignored you. When you arrived, Ross was greeted by a fan and you were beyond shocked that he had been recognised for his work. "I'd like to introduce you to my colleague, Professor Wheeler, this is Joey Tribbiani, and my girlfriend Y/N," Ross introduced.
The 'fan' gave you all big smiles but you politely smiled back, even though you were in an awful mood. "Are you both Palaeontologists?" The lady asked.
"Joey's an actor, and Y/N's just a second grade teacher," Ross stated.
His words stung. You couldn't believe that he had said you were just a teacher. "Y/N could you go get us checked in?" Ross asked.
You nodded and headed towards the reception. You stood in the que, trying to forget the comment your boyfriend had made. "Hey, you okay?" Someone asked.
You look to your right and saw Joey smoking sympathetically at you. "I'm fine," you said keeping your eyes on the reception desk.
"Don't take what he said too personally, I think his new found fame has gone right to his head," Joey responded, laughing lightly.
"I just don't appreciate him making my job sound pointless and less important than his," you huffed.
Before Joey had the chance to say anything else, you were called up to the reception so check in. The next day, after everyone had arrived, you were relaxing in your room with Ross. There were some parts of your relationship that you loved and the part you loved most was laying wrapped in his arms, feeling safe and secure. You had your head on his chest, his fingers running through your hair. "Thank you for coming here for my speech, I appreciate your support," Ross said.
"I wouldn't have missed it for the world," you grinned.
You leant up and pressed your lips to his softly. The kiss escalated quickly and Ross roughly pulled you into his lap. Just as you were about to remove his shirt, someone knocked on the door. "Just ignore them," you whispered.
"Ross, it's Charlie, you said you wanted me to read your speech," Charlie called.
Ross pretty much shoved you off his lap and scrambled off the bed and headed to the door. When Charlie came into the room she took in both of your appearances and realised she had interrupted something. "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt anything," she apologised.
"Don't worry, you didn't interrupt anything important," Ross said.
You huffed and straightened out your clothes. Ross and Charlie sat by his laptop and read over his speech, laughing and joking around. You sat on the edge of the bed, scowling at the pair. You didn't have any hatred towards Charlie, you just hated the fact that she stole your boyfriends attention and had no intention of giving it back. After what felt like centuries of listening to Charlie and Ross yammering on about his speech, another knock on the door echoed around the room. Ross got up to answer it and Joey, Rachel and Chandler strolled into the room. Chandler asked Ross if he could check his emails and he reluctantly agreed. "What's with the rain Geller?When I signed up for Dino week, no one said anything about it being monsoon season," Rachel complained.
"Actually the wet season is from June to December," Charlie interjected.
You rolled your eyes and as did Rachel. "Not the time Charlie," Rachel huffed.
"NO NO NO DEAR GOD NO!" Chandler panicked.
"Oh what? Did someone outbid you for the teapot?" Joey asked, causing you to giggle.
Chandler gave him an annoyed look snd slammed his hands on the table. "The secret teapot," Joey whispered.
"Your computer.... I...I... everything's gone," Chandler stuttered.
Ross rushed over the computer and you could see worry etched on his face. "What do you mean?" Ross asked.
"It must be a virus, I think it erased your hard drive," Chandler explained.
Ross began to panic when he realised all of his files had gone. "What am I going to do? My speech is gone," he snapped.
"Baby it's gonna be okay, you have a hard copy right?" You asked, running your hands across his shoulder.
"No I don't," Ross huffed closing his laptop.
"Well you must be pretty mad at yourself right now," Chandler said.
"I can't believe this is happening, I have to give the keynote speech tomorrow, what am I going to say?" Ross panicked.
"Ross we can solve this, I just heard your speech, we can recreate it, we've got all night," Charlie soothed.
The two agreed to spend the night redoing Ross' speech but you couldn't bare to be in the same room as them both any longer so you left to go get food with Joey. You both headed to the restaurant and Joey could tell you were quite upset. "Tell me what's wrong Y/N, I know you and I know somethings really bothering you," Joey said.
"Ross likes Charlie, it's obvious, she's his ideal girl, when ever she's in the room I'm discarded like trash," you explained.
"Ross loves you, but I think his head has been turned slightly, but I'm sure it will pass," Joey replied.
"How are you so calm about this, Charlie's your girlfriend, aren't you worried about her and Ross?" You questioned.
"I'm not worried, all I'm worried about is your happiness Y/N, I don't like you being upset," Joey responded.
You began to see Joey in a different light. You always knew that he cared about you but he only ever expressed it in a joking manner. Joey wouldn't hurt you like Ross is unintentionally doing. You pushed your relationship worries to the back of your head and tried to enjoy the rest of the trip. Thankfully, Ross and Charlie had re written the speech and the next day Ross did an incredible job at presenting it to the group of palaeontologists. You all applauded him and headed over to greet him. You had your arms open, ready to hug him but he went straight to Charlie instead, thanking her for all her help. You felt quite deflated and heartbroken. You knew that Ross felt something for Charlie and you knew that he wanted to be with her but the love he had for you was preventing him from doing so and also the fact Charlie was Joey's girlfriend. You slipped out of the room without speaking to Ross or anyone else and went to sit in the lobby. Moments later someone sat beside you and when you looked up you saw it was Joey... the man who had comforted you this whole trip. "Are you okay?" He asked.
You shook your head.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
You shook your head again.
"Ross is glad that you came Y/N, I think he just likes having Charlie around because they have a lot in common," Joey said.
You didn't respond and sat there thinking. You spent a long time just sitting there in silence, trying to clear your mind. However your peace was disturbed when you saw Charlie and Ross being chased through the lobby by some scientists. "Wow, scientists are such bizarre people," Joey chuckled.
"He's going to leave me Joey, I can see it," you blurted out.
Joey pulled you into his side and comforted you the best he could. Deep down he also knew that Charlie was going to leave him but he didn't want to share his worries with you as he was concerned about your happiness and your happiness only. "Come on, lets head upstairs yeah?" Joey said.
As you both stood up, from the corner of your eye you caught your beloved boyfriend kissing Charlie behind a tall plant. Joey noticed and he quickly hurried you upstairs. He took you to his room and you began pacing about the room. "I knew this would happen, I knew he would leave me for her," You rambled.
"Just sit down, take a deep breath and we'll sort this out okay," Joey said, gently pushing you onto the bed.
He sat beside you, a sad look resting on his face. "I can't believe we both just been cheated on," you whispered," I can't believe Ross cheated on me."
Joey took your hand in his and soothingly ran his thumb over the top of your hand. You tilted you head up to look at Joey who was already staring down at you. "Thank you for being here for me, you've really helped me over the past few days and I'm sorry this has happened to you Joey, you don't deserve it," you said.
"You don't deserve this either, you deserve a lot better," he replied.
Without thinking properly, you slammed you lips against Joey's. You pulled away quickly, worried that Joey wouldn't be okay with it. He looked you in the eyes for a few quick seconds, and softly placed his hand on your cheek. He captured your lips in his and they moved in perfect sync. "Wait wait wait," you said as you pulled away.
"Everything okay Y/N?" Joey asked.
"Before we go any further, we should wait to talk to Ross and Charlie, we've both just cheated as well, it's only fair that we talk to them before anything else happens," you explained.
Joey nodded in agreement and pulled you into a hug. Your relationship with Ross was over but could you potentially have something with Joey?
