-Joey Tribbiani & Rebecca-
Requests are currently closed. I will open them up again soon but due to many requests they will be closed for a short while.
You were currently sat on the sofa in the apartment you shared with your fiancé Joey, with a book in hand and a blanket covering your legs. You glanced at the clock on the wall and saw it strike 1am. It was the third night in a row that he had stayed out late with Chandler and Ross and you weren't exactly best pleased. You decided that you couldn't wait up for him any longer so your closed your book and headed towards the bedroom. Just as you climbed into bed, you heard the door open and close. Joey made his way into the bedroom and climbed into bed behind you. He wrapped his arms around your waist and pressed a kiss to the back of your head. "Hey baby," he whispered.
You pulled his arms off of your waist and scooted away from him. He attempted to put his hands around your waist again but you slapped his hands away. "Rebecca what's the matter?" He asked.
You ignored him which you knew would annoy him. "Seriously babe what's wrong?" He questioned.
You climbed out of bed and headed out to the living room deciding that you wanted to sleep on the sofa. You climbed under the blanket and hoped that Joey wouldn't follow you. You didn't want to be annoyed that he had stayed out late many times this week but you just wished that he'd spend time with you instead of leaving you home alone. You thought that Joey was would stay in bed but instead he came padding into the living room and sat by your feet. "Please will you tell me what's wrong?" He pleased.
"Maybe just try being home for five minutes and I won't be annoyed with you," you snapped.
Joey stared at you with a confused expression clearly not understanding what you were so upset about. "What do you mean?" He asked.
"You've stayed out until late for three nights now and I feel like I haven't seen you at all," you replied.
Joey let out a small laugh which made you even angry. "I'm sorry, is this funny to you?" You hissed.
"Babe please don't tell me your actually made at me for spending time with Ross and Chandler," he chuckled.
"It's not exactly nice knowing that your fiancé would rather be out at bars with girls throwing themselves at him than at home spending time with you," you responded.
"Rebecca you're being ridiculous," Joey huffed.
You narrowed your eyes at him, getting increasingly annoyed at his responses. You pushed yourself off the sofa and slipped on some shoes which confused Joey. "Now what are you doing?" He asked.
"I'm going to my sisters," you said not making eye contact with him.
"Will you stop being so ridiculous," Joey groaned.
"There's no point me being here if you don't want to spend time with me, there's no point is even being together if you'd rather he anywhere but with me," you snapped.
You glanced down at your engagement ring and ran your finger over it before pulling it off and throwing it on the sofa. Joey's eyes widened at your actions, confused as to how this has escalated so far. You stormed out of the apartment, grabbing your keys as you left. You drove to your sisters which thankfully was only a few blocks away. You felt bad about distributing your sister at this hour but you couldn't stay in the apartment with Joey. You knocked on her door and a few moments later it opened. "Hey sis, you okay?" She asked.
"No, me and Joey had a fight and I don't want to stay there," you responded.
She glanced down at your hand and looked shocked to see no ring. "Have you guys split up?" She asked, motioning to the ringless finger.
"I kind of threw my ring at him when I left," you mumbled.
"Oh wow, why don't you go crash in the spare room and we'll discuss it more in the morning," she suggested.
You nodded and headed into the spare bedroom. You crawled under the covers and began to think about what just happened. You did truly regret taking the ring off because you didn't want to end things with him but he was infuriating you massively. You woke up in the morning to your sister bringing in a cup of coffee. You sat up and took it from her hands whilst she sat next to you. "So what actually happened last night," your sister asked.
"I got annoyed with Joey because he's come home late for a few days now because he's been out with the guys drinking at bars and it really annoyed me," you responded," and when I told him he just laughed at me and thought I was being ridiculous."
"Becky you know I love you but I think you've made a mistake. You shouldn't have given the ring back to him because you don't want to leave him but that's probably what it looks like now," she said.
Just as you were about to respond someone knocked loudly on the front door. Your sister go up to go to answer knowing full well that it was most likely Joey. "Hey is she still here?" The all too familiar voice asked.
Moments later, Joey appeared in the room and he looked like he hadn't slept. You placed the coffee down on the bed side table and Joey sat down in the same place you sister was sat in before. "Baby I'm sorry, Im sorry I called you ridiculous, I'm sorry I didn't take your feelings in to consideration and I'm sorry I've not spent enough time with you," he rambled.
"Joey you have nothing to apologise for, I overreacted, I just miss you that's all, I work nine 'till five and for the past few days when I got him you went straight out and I didn't see you," you explained.
Joey took your hand in his and pulled your engagement ring out of his pocket. "I promise I'll spend more time with you, I just felt like I hadn't seen the guys enough but you will always be my number one priority and I don't want you to ever feel like I don't want to be with you," he said," so will you marry me again?"
You grinned and nodded your head. He slipped the ring back onto your finger before kissing your hand softly. "I love you Rebecca, more than you will ever know," he whispered before pressing his lips to yours.
His hand softly caressed your cheek as he deepened the kiss. He pushed you back gently and hovered above you, his lips still attached to yours. You wrapped your hands around his neck pulling him closer to you. "You two better not be having sex in there," your sister yelled.
You pulled away from Joey, a small chuckle escaping your lips. "How about we got home and finish this," he smirked.
You nodded your head eagerly and hurried out of the apartment, bidding your sister goodbye.
