Chapter 2

It was night time. I snuck out of the Falcon and carefully made my way to the front of the base. I needed answers. I heard from Leia that there was an old Jedi temple on Courscant so that's were I'm going. I needed to find out about this force bond...

"Rey? What are you doing up?"

I turn around to see Poe and Finn yawning sleepily. I didn't know if I should tell them. I can't tell them about the force bond with Ben. They would kill me.

"I'm going to meditate," I said smiling politely.

"At this hour? Can't you just meditate on your room?"

" I want to meditate in the old Jedi temple. I need to finish my training, " I lied.

Poe shrugged and walked away grabbing Finn by the collar of his night shirt.

"Good night Rey," Finn said looking a bit concerned.

"Good night."

I ran out of the base and grabbed one of the speeders. Courscant was so much diffrent from the other planets I have visited. There were speeders, buildings, people and creatures everywhere. There were so many lights, all except one building. The Jedi temple was pitch black. I parked my speeder on the landing pad and went inside. I found a piece of wood and set the tip on fire. I started walking around.

"Help..."

"Master Skywalker, there are to many of them. What are we going to do?"

I heard a lightsaber ignite. I froze. I turned to see a little boy and a man, maybe in his early twenties smiling at him.

"I'll train you, Anikan."

What was I seeing? I walked farther into the temple. I came upon a library. The library looked like it was ransacked. I saw a faint blue light crawling from the corner of the room.

"The archives must not be complete," I heard a voice whisper. I turned to see an older woman talking to a man.

Was I seeing the past? I heard children screaming. I ran out into the hallway and ran up two sets of stairs. I walked into this circle room that had chairs around the perimeter of the room. I sat down in the center and started to meditate. I reached out to the force. I felt a strange presence. I felt a pull.

"Why?"

A picture flashed through my head. Ben and I were fighting... The Resistance. Then I saw us next to eachother fighting some orange haired man.

This was Ben's vision... The one he was talking about in the elevator. I gasped, tears coming out of my eyes. Was this what the force was trying to get me to see? Me betraying my friends?

"Rey..."

I opened up my eyes to see Ben, meditating across from me. His eyes were closed. I crept closer. His hand grabbed mine. I flinched, I was unarmed. My broken light saber was on me but it was broken. I can't fight Ben with a broken lightsaber.

"Rey," Ben said as he opened his eyes. "What are you doing here?"

"Same as you, answers."

Ben nodded. "It was in this temple that my grandfather killed millions of Jedi. Were he became Darth Vader..."

"I know, I felt Anikans presence."

Ben nodded his head for the second time today. "So, you saw what I saw?

I nodded with tears coming out of my eyes. "I'm going to hurt my friends..."

Ben pulled me into him, whispering comforting words to me. "You know, it's not to late Ben, you can still come back."

"The lightside isn't for me, Rey. The rules are stupid and I have to much hate in me. I'm sorry..."

"I understand Ben, I do," I said softly.

I heard him shots. Ben shot up, scanning the room.

"DID YOU CALL THE RESISTANCE ON ME???!!!!"

"No," I said looking confused. I saw Ben fall down.

"TRAITOR!!!"

"POE WHY DID YOU SHOOT KYLO!!!"

Poe aimed his blaster at my forehead. "Traitor... You have been contacting this monster. Maybe that's why so many lives were lost. BECAUSE YOU TOLD HIM INFORMATION!!!"

"NO!!!" I fell down to my knees and checked Ben. He was still breathing. He had a wound in his torso but it wasn't as bad. I grabbed the light saber from his holster and ignited it.

"POE, BELIEVE ME I WOULDN'T BETRAY THE RESSISTANCE, I SWEAR!!!"

Poe fired a shot at me. I deflected it and grazed him with the light saber. I used the force to pick up Ben's unconscious body and ran for the nearest exit.

"STOP!!!"

I saw a bunch of storm troopers and resistance soldiers surrounding Ben and I. I saw Leia in the corner, crying silently.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS??!!! I WOULD NEVER BETRAY THE RESSISTANCE!!!!"

"Rey... How could you?"

I look to see Finn standing next to Leia trying to comfort her.

"You know what? I did everything for this cuase. I never lost hope. Untill now... Ben needs medical attention, NOW!!!"

"I'm sorry Rey... But as commander of the Resistance I put both you and Ben under arrest," Poe said emerging from  the crowd of troopers.

"You can't, he is the supreme leader!!! The First Order won't allow it."

"Well, Ren is no longer Supreme Leader. General Hux is. He also betrayed them by coming here and talking to you," Finn said staring at me.

I looked at Ben. His Torso was bleeding, alot. "Don't say I didn't warn you..."

I slashed out, killing 3 troopers and a Ressistance soldier. I started fighting, deflecting blaster shots. I felt something hit my back and I fell to the ground.

I saw a faint blue light. "I told you, the Jedi need to end."

"Master Luke?"

I fell unconscious.
