*Insert another despacito joke*

I don't regret anything I'm doing :)

Gavin could barely concentrate on what they were supposed to be doing. A murder case in the suburbs of Detroit, a mother and her child brutally murdered, suspect: the family android.

Conan had gone straight into working, gathering evidence and DNA. Gavin had stayed back, just looking over the bodies and taking notes. It was rather disturbing to see a murdered child, but it wasn't really that uncommon. Looking at the child reminded Gavin of his past thoughts of wanting a family with Conan some day. It looked like that wouldn't be happening any time soon.

Conan came back an hour later with a conclusion, "The family android went rogue, I'm not sure why yet, but it grabbed a large knife from the kitchen and stabbed the mother thirteen times while she was watching TV, wounds are covering her chest and head. The child came downstairs and saw what was happening. The android knew there couldn't be any witnesses, so it stabbed the child two times in the chest before fleeing. It's clear from the lesser amount of wounds on the child that the android didn't actually want to harm her, but had no choice." Conan explained. Gavin nodded, taking more notes.

"Any idea of where it went?" He asked in a mumbled and Conan shook his head. Gavin sighed before heading back outside and informing the other officers on the scene of their findings.

They were soon back in the car and on the way back to the station, the radio playing softly in the background, but Gavin took a detour, driving down town. He stopped outside a small coffee shop and hopped out, going inside. Conan remained in the car and waiting for Gavin to return, glancing around as he did so, analysing the inside of Gavin's car. There were a few wrappers of fast food littered around, empty coffee cups in the cup holders and a packet of strong mints on the dashboard.

Gavin soon came back with a coffee in one hand and some other items in the other. He got in and sipped his coffee before chucking one of the items over to Conan. It was an iced bun.

"I don't need to eat, Detective-"

"Have it anyway," Gavin mumbled, eating the other iced bun he'd bought for himself. He'd bought one for Conan because they used to be the android's favourite, having one whenever they'd visit a coffee shop.
