[Now here's a present version of Gavin's Christmas misery featuring RK900]
Gavin let out a huff as he watched the Christmas ads on the TV, rolling his eyes at how sickly happy they were. He grabbed the bottle of beer next to him and chugged it down, hoping to get drunk enough not to give a fuck. He'd taken a few days off before Christmas since he'd volunteered to work on Christmas day. Everyone else had family and friends that they wanted to spend time with, but not Gavin. Gavin had no one left, his aunt had been dead for many years, his cousin now lived in Germany, and his half brother was way to famous to even think about him anymore. His mother hadn't bothered to contact him since he was seventeen and the last time he'd seen his father was when he was two years old.
He picked up the TV remote and flicked through the channels, trying to find something that wasn't about Christmas, he had no luck though. He sighed in frustration and stood up, deciding to put a DVD on instead. He went over to his shelving unit and browsed his collections, eventually deciding to go with Shaun of the Dead. He put the disk into the DVD player and sat back down, starting the movie up.
Around fifteen minutes into the movie, he heard a knock on his front door and he groaned, not wanting to get up. Perhaps if he just stayed quiet the person would go away. There was silence for a few minutes before the knock occurred again. Gavin huffed and stood up, making his way over to the door. He turned the handle and opened it to reveal his android partner.
"Oh, its you. The fuck do you want?" Gavin asked in a mumble, not wanting to talk.
"I can see that I am unwanted here so I will be quick. Since humans find it customary to give each other things on the 25th every year, I decided to get you something," Conan said, handing Gavin a wrapped parcel. "I'm a little early in giving it to you but that is because I had decided that I will not be working Christmas day so I won't see you around." Gavin raised his eyebrow at that.
"You booked Christmas day off? Why? You're an android, you don't celebrate the stupid holiday," Gavin huffed and Conan's face softened a little.
"I was rather hoping that you weren't going to be working on Christmas day either, I wanted to spend time with you, but then I found out from Officer Chen that you were but I'd already booked the time off," Conan explained. Gavin's eyes widened a little. Conan wanted to spend time with him? Of all people?
"I thought you would've wanted to spend it with that other plastic prick..." Gavin mumbled. Conan shook his head.
"I may consider Connor to be like a brother to me, but I would much rather be around you," Conan said in a slightly softer tone. Gavin's face heated up a little at that.
"Hmph... w-well maybe I won't work on Christmas day then, I still have time to tell Fowler," Gavin mumbled and he blushed a bit more at the surprising, rare smile that appeared on Conan's face.

Christmas day arrived and Gavin had indeed talked to Fowler and been allowed to take time off. He was just sat in his bedroom on his bed, having only just woken up. He picked up his phone and turned it on, having to squint his eyes as the light from the phone hurt his eyes against the darkness of the room. It was already nearly midday,so he decided to get up, going to the bathroom and brushing his teeth before coming back to the bedroom and getting dressed.
He heard a knock at his front door and instantly knew who it was. He went over to the mirror and fixed his hair up, not wanting to look like shit. Wait why would he care? Conan's a fucking android it's not like he's trying to impress anyone important. He made his way over to the front door and opened it up. Conan wasn't dressed in his usual Cyberlife outfit, he was dressed in warm, casual clothing: a black turtleneck shirt, a thick jacket and a pair of jeans. He was also covered in snow. Gavin stepped aside to silently invite him in, Conan walked inside and hung his jacket up on the coat rack that was there. Gavin closed the door, shivering slightly at the cold air. He looked up at Conan and reached his hand up, brushing the snow out of his hair. Conan looked at him with a raised eyebrow and Gavin suddenly retracted his hand, a blush on his face as he realised what he was doing. Gavin scurried over to the kitchen, leaving Conan to be confused in the living room.
