Good moooooooorning my fellow cockwaffles-

Conan sat in the living room, eyes closed and LED spinning yellow. Gavin wandered in with a freshly made coffee and sat down next to him, glancing at him before looking at the TV, watching the weather forecast. After a few minutes of silence, Gavin turned to Conan, curious about what he was doing.

"Conan? Whatcha doing?" He asked and Conan's eyes opened, glancing at Gavin.

"I'm researching to see if there is a way to restore my previous memories. Ever since Markus took over Cyberlife, androids have stopped uploading their memories for backup, which is what I stopped doing too. I've looked through several different options, but none are too practical so far, but I'll keep looking," he explained. Gavin nodded, looking back at the TV afterwards.

The two sat in a comfortable silence, after last night things were a lot more friendly between them. Gavin then leaned his head over and rested it on Conan's shoulder, closing his own eyes and relaxing. Conan glanced down at him and smiled, he was glad that Gavin was a lot more comfortable around him now.

After a while, Conan checked the time and gently moved Gavin's head off of his shoulder.

"We should go or we'll be late," he said and Gavin rolled his eyes, slouching back on the couch.

"Meh," he mumbled, not really wanting to go. Conan chuckled and stood up, then he reached down and picked Gavin up as well, carrying him towards the door.

"Hey! Put me down, you prick!" Gavin yelped, squirming in Conan's grip. Conan stopped and put Gavin down near the door.

"Put your shoes on, we're going now," Conan said firmly and Gavin huffed but did as he was told, mumbling profanities under his breath.

The two got down to the precinct and got straight back to work, analysing the files of the gang members that had been apprehended and were now in the holding cells at the back of the precinct, ready for interrogation.

Work felt slow, Gavin was already on his tenth coffee and it wasn't even midday yet. Conan warned him not to drink so much caffeine but all he received was a middle finger in return.

"So we already know which gang all these people are from, we just have to find their main base of operations, right?" Gavin asked and Conan nodded in confirmation, typing words quickly into the terminal. He then frowned a little.

"I just got a message saying that everyone should keep an eye on the holding cells, the gang members are getting a bit rowdy," Conan mumbled over to Gavin, who rolled his eyes.

"Nothing unusual then. They can't do shit while they're in those cells, we can leave them be," Gavin mumbled, sipping lightly at his coffee. Conan nodded but made a mental not to check the holding cells later.

The two got on with their paperwork in the meantime and Conan did a sneaky bit of research about how to restore his memory as well. He'd found out some interesting things and believed he was finally getting somewhere.

Suddenly the main lights of the precinct shut off, leaving the emergency ones on, red warning lights flashed brightly and the alarms began to go off.

"They've broken the holding cells!!" An officer yelled as he ran into the main room, but was stopped once a bullet flew straight flew his head, sending blood splattering. Gavin and Conan looked at each other in panic.

"Shit!"
