The precinct was in absolute chaos. Officers were racing around, either trying to flee or fight against the escaped gang members. Conan immediately went and found a gun, firing towards the cluster of shooters. He shot about three of them down before getting behind cover. Gavin was hiding underneath his desk, shaking badly. Nothing like this had ever happened before and he didn't know what to do. Yea they'd had drills before to practice, but now that it was actually happening, Gavin's mind was blank. He glanced over and saw Conan shooting towards the group, then getting shot in the shoulder and having to fall back. Gavin's eyes then glanced around at the officers all over the room, a lot of their bodies littered around on the floor. These were the people he'd worked with for years, the people he'd been friends with. Now they were dead, and it devastated him.

"...avin...!.... Gavin!!" Conan's voice just got to Gavin through the noise of the gunfire. Gavin's eyes snapped over to Conan, who had a concerned look on his face.

"Are you okay!?" He yelled across the precinct. Gavin just nodded, too panicked to speak. They were taking cover behind desks on opposite sides of the offices, a large gap between them that would be suicide to cross.

Gavin knew he had to do something, he had to help, he couldn't just stay there like a whimpering coward. He got his own gun out of it's holster, peaking up above the desk and taking aim, firing towards the group. He felt pretty proud of himself when he saw two of them go down, but now some of the attention of the gang members were on him now. He ducked behind the desk again just as a few bullets shot right past where his head was a few seconds ago. This was way too dangerous, perhaps he could just wait until the gang run out of bullets?

He then glanced over towards Conan again, but his eyes widened as he noticed one gang member had snuck past him, sneaking up behind the android with his gun raised. Gavin felt like time had slowed down. He could let Conan die, not again.

Not again.

He leapt up, sprinting across the precinct towards the man with a gun held up at Conan. The gang fired towards Gavin as he ran across but mostly missed, only grazing him with a few bullets. He tackled the man, sending them both flying to the floor, but the man was still holding the gun...

and he fired.
