[Yandere Gavin! Requested by my sweet child UnburnableBoi :3]

A crime scene. That's where Gavin first got his urges.

He kept staring at the android he claimed to hate, his heart fluttering every time he looked back, his face heating up for no particular reason. He couldn't get enough of Conan's face, it was just so perfect, no bumps or scars like Gavin's face. Everything about the android was perfect.

"Detective Reed, all the evidence has been analysed and the results sent back to the precinct, I'm going to interview a few witnesses before we leave," Conan said over to Gavin in his perfectly calm voice, even just hearing it made Gavin's heart skip a beat.

"Yeah, whatever, dipshit," Gavin mumbled in return, crossing his arms and glancing away. Conan walked off to where the witnesses were stood, getting out a digital notepad and beginning to take witness statements from everyone. Gavin's eyes went back to watching Conan, staring at his handsome face yet again. He frowned when Conan began to talk to a woman who was smiling sweetly and twirling her hair, clearly flirting with the tall android. Gavin felt anger bubbling up inside of him. How dare that whore flirt with his Conan!

Once everything was done, Gavin went back over to his car, getting in with a sigh. Conan followed soon after, sitting in the passenger seat.

"Who was that woman?" Gavin mumbled over to Conan, who raised his eyebrow.

"Samantha Burkins, she was a witness to the robbery, I was taking her statement. Why?" Conan asked in return, Gavin just mumbling "no reason" in return. The journey back was silent, Conan having no idea what Gavin was plotting in his head. Upon returning to the station, Conan went to talk with Connor and Hank for a while, Gavin went straight to his desk, pulling up all the information he could find about Samantha, including her home address.

"So what happened here?" Conan asked a fellow officer as they stood outside of the crime scene.

"A woman was murdered in her home last night, stabbed sixty three times in the chest and face area. It seems that the murder was planned, there's not a trace of evidence anywhere. The murdered must know what they're doing," The officer explained to Conan. He then said something that sent metaphorical chills down the android's spine, "The victim is one of the witnesses from yesterday. Samantha Burkins."

"Is this crime linked with the other one?" Conan asked and the officer shook his head before going back to work. Conan frowned as he looked around. The crime was definitely planned as the android couldn't find any evidence that could be traced back to the person that committed the crime, but judging from the amount of stab wounds on the victim, he could tell that the murdered definitely had something against the woman.

Conan looked over his shoulder at Gavin, who was stood leaning against his car. Conan swore he could see a glimpse of a satisfied smirk on the human's face.

"Seventeen unsolved cases is unbelievable! The murderer can't have just vanished!" Fowler yelled at the four men stood in his office - two humans, two androids.

"We're trying but the fucker leaves no evidence behind! He clearly knows how to evade the cops!" Hank growled in return, clearly just as annoyed as Fowler. There had been seventeen murders, they didn't seemed to be linked at all though. The only correlation Conan could find was that he'd spoken to all of those people just hours before their deaths. He glanced over to Gavin who was just leaning quietly against the wall, arms crossed and not paying attention. He didn't seem to care much about what Fowler was saying, which was surprising since Gavin almost always hated failing.

Conan had stopped talking to people due to the fact that everyone he seemed to talk to was killed. He was scared of who could be next, but he felt like he could safely talk to anyone in the precinct, surely the murderer wasn't there, right?

Wrong.

Connor went missing.

Hank was distraught over Connor's disappearance and so was Conan. They hoped to find him alive, but it was way too late. Connor's mangled body was found five days later in a ditch near a small stream, and again, no evidence was left behind.

Conan was completely broken after that. He didn't speak to anyone. He isolated himself. He was even too worried to talk to Gavin in case he got hurt too. He decided it would perhaps be best to work cases alone. He approached Gavin one day, looking around out of paranoia before talking to him.

"Detective Reed? I think it would be best if we work on separate cases from now on. I found a link that every person I've ever interacted with has been killed by this murderer and I don't want you to be hurt too-"

"No."

Conan's face twisted in confusion.

"What do you mean 'no'?" Conan asked and Gavin just looked at him with an emotionless face, staring into his eyes. There was a slight eeriness to it.

"No. We're not going to separate. No matter what," Gavin said, his voice completely monotone. Conan just looked even more confused, "We're going to remain partners, you're not going to leave me." Conan frowned, a simulated huff leaving his lips.

"I'm doing this for your safety-"

"You're mine. I won't let anyone take you away," Gavin grumbled, his eyes narrowing, a sinister hint to his tone. Conan stared at Gavin for a moment before his eyes widened, mouth agape as he realised it had been Gavin all along...
