Rox's POV

I felt a sense of worry wash over me at leaving Jungkook alone with Taehyung. I shut the door with a small smile on my face, trying to reassure Jungkook though it looked like he needed none. It's not that I didn't trust Taehyung, I just knew his hobby for starting mischief wherever he could. I followed Rowan, Loki and Kai the rest of the way to the door at the end of the hallway. They seemed to be talking about something that I didn't know about as I had been lost in my head. We came to an abrupt stop in front of the door leading out of the corridor. I felt a hand land on my shoulder and looked over to see Rowan looking at me expectantly.

"Um what?" Rowan snorted and rolled her eyes lightly, Kai huffed and crossed her arms and Loki merely chuckled quietly at me.

"Lost in your head there Rox? I only wonder what you could be thinking about." Loki let a suggestive tone creep out of her mouth, lips now curled into a knowing smirk. She then wiggled her eyebrows, seeming to know what or who I had been thinking about. I flushed at her look and stuttered over giving her an answer. Loki laughed out loud and Kai seemed to struggle between giving me a fond smile and the concerned look in her eyes. I kept trying to form an excuse as to why I hadn't been paying attention only to feel a small tug on my shoulder, making me return my attention back to Rowan.

"We asked if you were wanting to do the dinner here though I'm pretty sure you've already decided for all of us from what I overheard you saying to Jungkook." Rowan raised one eyebrow at me as if to challenge me into denying what she had overheard. I looked down at my hands that were clasped in front of me and mumbled.

"I'd like to have dinner here with the boys on this floor." Rowan laughed at my shyness and Loki teased me, pinching my cheeks and squishing my face.

"Awe look at our little baby getting all shy and bashful." I groaned and swatted Loki's hands away from my face, much to her amusement. I noticed Kai had been unnaturally quiet and glanced over at her, while Loki and Rowan were distracted with teasing me. The struggle between concern and a fondness for me from earlier seemed to have come to a close as her eyes were now filled with concern for me. I walked up to her and hugged her lightly, being that she was only a few inches taller than me, I was able to rest my head comfortably on her shoulder. She jumped a bit at my sudden hug but had no hesitancy in returning it. Me and my friends had always been affectionate with each other but Kai being lost her thoughts and not noticing my look, did not expect a hug. Rowan and Loki seemed to sense a change in atmosphere and came to wrap their arms around the both of us, squeezing us tightly and wiggling around in an effort to lighten the situation. It worked, Kai began to laugh loudly at the goofiness of our friends and I giggled along with her. The hug ended and as we were all in a good mood again, concerns forgotten, we walked through the door out onto the landing of the 7th floor for the boys dormitory. What I saw in the next instant had me freeze and cower back against the wall near the door we just left in fear.

Coming out of the left door of the landing, where the left wing of the boys dormitory was, was Changkyun, followed closely by his two friends; Khan, a weretiger and Gideon, a gargoyle. Terror enveloped me at the memory that flashed back to me as I met Changkyun's eyes. The same eyes I stared into, begging for help as Khan held me down and Gideon hit me repeatedly with his stone fists. Other than glance at the beginning of my beating, Changkyun would not look at what had been happening, merely looking at his phone in disinterest. My pleads for help fell on deaf ears as he ignored me and left me to his friends, not joining but not stopping them either. His lack of care making it hard to believe we had once been friends. His eyes met mine now and widened slightly at the fact that I was in the boys dormitory, let alone on his floor. Khan and Gideon smirked to themselves at the memory of what they did to me. I slid down the wall I was braced against in fear. Changkyun's onyx black eyes under his jet black hair held what seemed to be a look of shame but before I could confirm it, all hell broke loose.

Rowan flew forward, shoving Changkyun harshly against the stone wall, her small form betraying the strength she hid well inside her. Her eyes had turned a brilliant blue green and her fangs had elongated. Her nails elongated to turn into claws that looked as if she dipped her fingertips in black paint. A low hiss emerged from her lips that currently were curled into a snarl, "Oh how I have longed to get my hands on you." Her voice had taken on the haunting double tone that is known for sirens to possess. Changkyun's eyes, now glowing an unnatural neon blue, snapped in anger and leaning off of the wall, he advanced towards Rowan with blue flames sparking in his hands. Seeing this Rowan flew towards him again, fingers grabbing at his wrists and pushing him back against the wall, hands pinned to either side of his head. Being my height, she only came up to just under his chin, her small body holding him against the wall.

"Don't you know Mage? Water always beats out fire," Rowan said in her haunting voice as water from the fountains positioned in the corners of the landing, seemed to slither to where Rowan had Changkyun against the wall, enveloping his hands and the blue flames that danced in them. The water extinguishing the flames and leaving Changkyun helpless against Rowan who appeared to be losing control.

Seeing their friend being restrained, Khan and Gideon began to advance towards Rowan. Quicker than the eye could see, Loki jumped into action, wings sprouting from her back and a spade tipped tail, swishing dangerously around her legs. Her dual colored eyes became consumed by black as her fangs jutted out and her nails sharpened dangerously. Gideon had now taken on his hybrid form as well, body turning to stone and wings protruding from his back, nails turning to talons and all his teeth becoming serrated. His eyes turned full grey as the stone that covered his body. I remembered the feel of his stone fist hitting me relentlessly and flinched. Before Gideon could get any closer to Rowan, Loki's tail lashed out and wound around his neck, wings lifting her into the air as Gideon had now taken flight. Loki flew behind him, wrapping her legs around his waist from the back and had her claws digging into his shoulders. He appeared to be giving her a piggy back ride and if it weren't for the deadly expressions on both their faces, it may have been believable. "I wonder how long your stone exterior will last," Loki purred out dangerously as her tail tightened more around his neck, the sharp spade poking harshly under his jawline. At this point Loki was holding them both up and Gideon began to panic, trying to rip her tail off his throat, only succeeding in making Loki laugh lowly.

On the other side of the room, Khan had begun to shift into his tiger state, hazel eyes turning gold and fangs appearing. His hands becoming clawed his body gaining more muscle and slight spurts of fur along with a tail. Unlike werewolves, he could only shift partway. A low growl came from Kai as her eyes snapped to a flaming orange, fangs extending and nails turning into dagger like claws, she tackled Khan and held him to the floor. Her one white fox tail that betrayed her young age, unfurled and swished dangerously in the air, puffing out to twice it's usual size. Khan hissed and spit at Kai, resulting in Kai snapping her fangs very close to his face with a snarl. Realizing his condition, Khan froze under Kai, afraid to move.

I felt useless, as I stayed frozen in fear against the wall and could not move, I watched my friends quickly begin to lose control and could not do anything to stop them.

Well that escalated quickly.
