Rox's POV
I gulped at Changkyun's brash confession as all the others around me appeared to bristle at his words. Rowan started to approach him but was quickly grabbed by the wrist by Jimin as he saw the anger snapping in her eyes. Loki looked like she wanted to move too but after a look from Tae, she stopped and merely glared intently at him. Rowan looked back at Jimin in shock and he merely looked at her with a blank look on his face.
"It should be Rox's decision whether we allow him to be around, she was the one who got hurt." Rowan stared at Jimin in disbelief when Tae spoke up.
"I agree with Jimin, it should be her decision." Yoongi, Jungkook, Rowan, Loki and even Kai looked at Jimin and Tae with furious looks on their faces. They then turned their eyes to Changkyun with murderous intent behind each gaze. Changkyun looked at me with a blazing hope in his eyes and I felt a pang in my chest. I missed being his friend, we did have our good moments and I felt myself yearning for that friendship back. Could I trust him though, after what he has done. I looked around at my friends that gathered around me in a protective circle and realized I could give him a chance, because I had them to pick me up if I fell.
I made up my mind and looked at Changkyun tentatively and nodded. Changkyun's eyes blazed with happiness as he broke free from Jungkook and Yoongi's hold to fly through the air and hug me tightly. Jungkook and Yoongi looked stunned while Loki, Kai and Rowan looked wary. Jimin and Tae merely kept their faces blank and observed the scene. I looked to Jungkook again as Changkyun continued to hug me. He met my eyes and I saw a flash of anger before he looked away from me. He looked behind him and seemed to be focused on something. I moved my head slightly to see what he was looking at and felt my heart drop when I saw the target of his attentions. He was staring at HER and she appeared to be staring at him as well with a small smile playing at her lips. She cast one last glance at him before walking away to follow her friends.
Changkyun pulled away and I focused my attention on him, ignoring the pain in my chest.
"You won't regret this Rox, I promise! And everyone else, I'll do my best to be a good friend to all of you." Changkyun looked around at everyone in turn, making his promise to them. Just then the rest of the group found us and joined our circle. Jin came flying in with Joon in tow while Luca brought Hobi. They landed and joined us with smiles but quickly read the tension in the group and immediately asked what was going on. Tae explained what had happened, leaving Jungkook and my kissing session out thankfully. Jimin made his way over to me and motioned at my arms, as if asking for permission to heal me. I nodded and allowed him while Changkyun sat as close to me as possible and watched my face. Warmth spread along my arms at Jimin's touch as I tried not to focus on Changkyun's stare. I instead focused on Jin and Jungkook. Jin was amusingly standing very close to Jungkook and Jungkook appeared a tad uncomfortable.
Jin then appeared to throw caution to the wind and latched on to Jungkook in a crushing hug and began crying. Everyone else began chuckling as Jungkook looked panicked and patted Jin's back awkwardly. He appeared to look around for help and when his gaze landed on Joon, he dimpled at Jungkook and explained.
"Jin has been the only Nephilim in existence until you, he isn't alone anymore and it's a tad bit overwhelming for him." Jungkook's eyes widened in understanding before he tentatively hugged Jin back. Jimin plopped down next to me and sighed contently as he looked around in happiness.
"I'm glad you guys joined our little group, it will be good for us, I'm sure of it." Jimin whispered this so only I could hear him. I looked at him, confused by his statement but he merely smiled at me charmingly and stood up. Jimin then waltzed over to Jin and a tired looking Jungkook and patted Jin's back lightly. Jin looked up at Jimin and slowly pulled away from Jungkook. Jimin then smiled at everyone and made an announcement.
"Guys I believe I know what needs to happen tonight." Everyone looked at him curiously and Jimin paused and appeared happy at all the attention on him. After about a minute of us waiting, Rowan growled at Jimin lowly. Taking this as his time to speak up, he finally told us what he deemed was a brilliant idea.
"I think we should have a party tonight. We have no class tomorrow and now we all have a lot of friends, I think it's the perfect idea." Everyone appeared dumbfounded at his suggestion. He then merely looked at Jin the way a puppy dog would eye someone when asking for a treat and asked sweetly, "Please Jin, can we? It's alright, right?" Jin looked flustered under Jimin's puppy eyed gaze and I snorted in amusement. Jin gulped and stuttered out his reply, apparently not able to withstand Jimin's gaze.
"U-uh sure, I-I don't see a problem with it. We could um, use one of the common rooms, JIMIN QUIT LOOKING AT ME, AGH!" We all laughed at Jin's outburst at Jimin and everyone seemed to accept the idea until Luca pointed something out.
"Wouldn't it be weird to have a party with 9 guys and 4 girls?" Everyone seemed to absorb this information and I personally became creeped out by the idea of it and from the looks on their faces, so were Kai, Loki and Rowan. Jimin smirked menacingly and stated what should have been an innocent enough sounding phrase but sounded ominous coming from his upturned lips.
"I guess I will just have to find more girls then." With that statement, his eyes turned a brilliant gold and he flew off on his beautiful butterfly wings, leaving all of us flabbergasted in his wake.
