Chapter 39

Jungkook's POV

The door slammed shut behind her and silence filled the room. The silence was swiftly broken by Jin's voice, calm and soothing.

"Well on that note, I think it's best if we all retire for the night, I think we've had all the excitement we need. Thank you all very much for coming! Esme, Riley, Ayu, Acacia and Marley, please allow me and Namjoon to escort you back to your dorms." Jin made a flourishing gesture with his hand and the girls all began to follow Joon out with Jin following close behind them. Jimin snorted before crossing the room to pull Rox into his lap and hold her. She began sobbing softly into his chest as he pet her hair in a soothing fashion.

"Jungkook, what did Elena mean by your fates being connected?" I looked over at Luca who had spoken and shrugged in confusion.

"I have no idea, that's the first time she has ever spoken to me, I saw her once in the courtyard from a distance but that's it." He looked at me in a contemplative matter.

"It would be in your best interest to stay away from her Jungkook, she will bring you more misfortune than anyone else ever could."

"Why?" Kai growled at my question and looked at me in contempt.

"She is a Vila, any male a Vila sets her sights on is doomed. I think it's better if Jungkook stays away from us, he will succumb to her and drag all of us with him and Rox will suffer the most."

"We are not going to shun Jungkook, Kai. He is one of us now and will receive our protection from whoever he needs it from." Hobi spoke up in my defense much to my surprise.

"Oh can it with your pack mentality Hobi, we aren't all wolves here. Elena has it out for Rox and if she stays around Jungkook, Elena will come for her."

"Don't you think Rox should be the one deciding this as it is her life and her relationship with Jungkook we are talking about?" Kai and Hobi were now nose to nose while Rox continued crying intensely as Jimin tried to calm her down. Loki, Luca, Tae and Rowan were attempting to diffuse Hobi and Kai and Yoongi stared at the wall in silence. I felt as if my head was about to burst from the chaos that just ensued and still progressed along with all the questions and feelings tearing through me.

"Okay stop, stop, STOP!" My voice echoed around the room as everyone stared at me in astonishment.

"I have no idea what's going on and I think it's damn well time that someone started explaining it to me instead of bickering with each other." Silence still reigned for a moment before Yoongi spoke up quietly.

"A Vila is a woman with qualities meant to lure men to them. They can captivate men in various different ways, sometimes driving men to madness with their obsession for said Vila. They also manipulate fire, when Kai said that men who are targeted by a Vila are doomed she was correct. If a Vila chooses to ensnare you, there is no way known to stop or break it. Even being in love with another doesn't hold a candle to this. That being said, Elena also sees you as what appears to be her fated match, as we all have one. The situation doesn't look good for you baby angel, and if Rox chooses to stay by your side, there's no telling what will happen to her or any of us that try to keep you from Elena. She is extremely dangerous and has many loyal to her due to what she is. Can you honestly tell us right now that you don't find her beautiful and that you aren't drawn to her?" Yoongi was now looking me in the eyes and I could tell that he would know if I was lying. The room grew quiet, even Rox grew quiet with her head still buried into Jimin's chest and her hands clenched in his shirt.

I gulped back against the emotions welling up inside me as I realized the truth. When I thought of Elena and her thin body with her golden skin and gold green eyes, I felt a pull, I felt a need to run my hands through her golden hair and savor every inch of her as I worshiped her while she writhed underneath me. I felt a thin layer of disgust settle across my mind but it wasn't enough to quell the rising tide of desire for her. I looked at Yoongi and wanted more than anything to not mean the next words to come out of my mouth.

"Yes I find her beautiful and I am drawn to her. I feel an insatiable want and desire for her. I don't want to but I do, no matter what I feel for anyone else, I want Elena."

"Then sorry to say baby angel, but you're already lost to us."

Rox's POV

I felt my heart stop at Jungkook's words as they echoed through my mind. He wanted her, he wanted Elena, even after everything that just happened, he wanted her. I tried to choke back my sobs as Jimin lifted my quaking form into his arms and began to walk to the door.

"I'm taking Rox back to her room, she doesn't need to hear these things." I felt Jimin stop suddenly and lifted my head to see Jungkook's hand right in front of me on Jimin's shoulder.

"No Jimin wait, let me talk to her and take her back."

"Let go Kook, you've done enough to her."

"Please.." Jungkook's broken, choked voice made me look at his face. There he stood with tears brimming in his eyes, ready to fall at any moment. He looked broken as his eyes met mine, sorrow and desperation filling them.

"I know you didn't do this on purpose Kook and it can't be helped but think of her."

"But I'll fix this, I'll find a way to not want her, this is not going to be my fate, this isn't the end!"

"Jungkook you can't fight this, no one has ever gotten away from this without losing their minds or dying. The best you and Rox can do for each other is let each other go now, before something worse happens. It's over Kook, I'm sorry."

Jimin began to walk away again as Jungkook's hand fell away from his shoulder but not before I reached out and touched it briefly, causing Jungkook to meet me eyes. Tears cascaded down his cheeks as Jimin walked out the door with me in his arms. Jungkook falling to his knees and sobbing was the last thing I saw before the door closed.
