Naina fights back
Part 9- Naina and Sameer's Roka ceremony
Sameer and his family enter the Aggarwal house. The Aggarwals tell the Maheswari where to sit. Sameer, and Naina's friends are sitting behind them. The priest enters, and starts to recite the mantras for the Roka ceremony
Sameer and Naina look at each, and folds thier hands together.
Sameer: You look so gorgeous, I wish I could just marry you right now
Naina: Ditto, but without all the other functions I won't be able to marry you, now look ahead, and concentrate.
Pandit: What are you both talking about?
Sameer+Naina: Nothing
The priest does the tilak for Sameer, and Naina. Vishaka presents a red duppata followed by clothes, Jewelley, and cash for Naina, and she accepts it.
Naina: I don't have a mom, but Chachi will do it from our side.
Chachi gives clothes, and money to Sameer, whilst all the family showers him with love and blessings.
Priest: The Roka ceremony is complete, Naina, and Sameer take blessings from all of your elders.
Sameer, and Naina stands up, and gets the blessings from both sides of the family.
Munna, Swathi, Preeti, and Pandit: Now touch our feet, and we will bless you
Everyone starts to smile, and before they bend down, they all embrace one another
Munna: Are you mad, you both were actually going to do it?
Sameer+ Naina: Yes
Preeti: We are your best friends, we can just hug, and that will be your blessing to stay, and love one another.
The family exchange fruit baskets, dry fruits, clothes, and other assortments.
Naina: Can we all go to my room, to talk?
Chachi: Yes you can, but when I call you all come back out again
Sameer, Swathi, Munna, Pandit enters Naina, and Preeti's room. Naina shuts the door, and they all sit down on the bed.
Preeti: What were you whispering to each other?
Sameer: Naina looks so gorgeous, I want to marry her now.
Naina holds Sameer's hand, and they both look down.
Naina: Every hand hold feels like the same when we first touched hands in school
Swathi: Will you both tell us how it happened?
Naina, and Sameer begin to laugh
Sameer: Remember when we were decorating for the 12th standard farewell party, Munna, and Pandit told me to touch Naina's hand anyhow.
Naina: I was so confused as to why Sameer was following me everywhere. He got angry because of Munna, and Pandit kept irritating him, so he left the class, and I followed him. I didn't know what the reason was so I came in front of him.
Sameer: A car came horning, but we didn't know it was dad's car back then I was lovingly staring into Naina's eyes, and reaching out for her hand, when suddenly Naina lands into the mud by a girl, I tried not to laugh, but eventually I touched Naina's hand, poor Naina had to wash her hand off.
Naina: After I washed my hand, I became upset. I thought Sameer wouldn't touch my hand after that, but he did it again, and I felt an electric current, my breathing increased, an I looked at him, but he was staring at me intensely, and I became shy, and ran off.
Pandit: Aww how cute you both are, I touched Preeti's hand, and she became shy.
Naina: That's exactly my reaction oh god I can still feel it.
Naina stands up, and goes towards the window
Naina: I love you Sameer
Sameer: Are you mad our families are outside?
Naina: I'm crazily mad in your love Sameer, I can shout it to the world. I feel like I'm flying.
Naina runs around with her arms open around her friends.
Naina: Come on, I want to live these moments again with all of us together.
They all join Naina, and have a lot of fun
