Good hearts outweigh pretty faces.
"You got that last log?"
"Yeah. It's a bit tricky to get up to the roof, but I'll find a way up."
"Hold on, darling, let me lift you up with a Telekinesis. It's easier that way."
"You sure?"
"Totally. I'll lift up Pikachu as well."
"Is it because we're short?"
"Well, that, but also to help you safely stand on the rooftop."
"Fine. Whatever you say."
Using her Telekinesis, Espeon transports Mawile and Pikachu to the roof of the Wigglytuff Guild to install the final log pieces to complete its rebuild. With the residential and commercial areas finished, all volunteers pooled their efforts to finalize the Guild's rebirth from destruction.
"How the hell are we supposed to install this log? I know it's the last piece of the roof, but I don't see any logical way of pasting it right."
"I guess we could 'weld' it with the rest by using a pressurized Ice Beam that doesn't melt from heat sources. It's doable, but tricky to execute correctly."
"Where's the logic on that?"
"You'll see when I perform it!"
Aiming for the intersection of logs, Mawile uses a pressurized Ice Beam that allows the logs to mend together once the ice has melted. Still unsure about the effectiveness of the ice, he tries to find a different material to use as an adhesive.
"We should have brought nails over; they're supposed to be more reliable, aren't they?"
"Why would we need nails? We could cause unintended injuries if we install those."
"Which is why we have to hammer them properly. In other words, guiding them towards the center without having either end sticking out."
"I'm guessing that's the human way of construction, eh?"
"What?"
"I mean, I heard from the Guild Master, but is it true that you're a human?"
"I guess. So, what?"
"Nothing bad. It's just have there's been a big migration of humans in our world lately. Lots of different cultures coming in."
"Doesn't sound like anything amazing."
"I think it is. I've always wanted to chat with humans, learning about their walks of life and the struggles they have to overcome. It's fascinating, really."
"Don't expect much from me. I'm one of those so-called 'boring' people who don't follow the mainstream."
"Aw come on, you playing down yourself too much."
"Not really."
Espeon, overseeing Pikachu and Mawile's teamwork from the ground, develops a deep interest in their interactions with one another. While staring at them in glee, Jigglypuff taps her tail to get her attention.
"You seem happy. What'd you find?"
"Oh, nothing special, just witnessing the possible birth of a new relationship. Aren't those two cute together?"
