June 30th, the end of the first month of Caden being in L.A with her brother and his friends. Caden woke up that morning remembering every single thing that happened at Zion's birthday party.
Did Zion try to kiss her last night? She was sure he tried; the worst part was she didn't know how to feel about it. The best thing to do was ignore it, act as if it never happened. She hoped Zion would do the same.
Zion didn't go to sleep until early hours of the day, the moment shared with Caden replaying constantly in his head. Why was he so stupid? He knew she was trying to move on, slowly. He would put a excuse, he was tipsy? That could work.
Did he like her? Yeah, a bit. After Zion's conversation with Edwin, showing clear jealously, and after that failed attempt at kissing Caden he was sure of it. He was too stubborn to admit it though, so he'll just deny it and avoid it.
The first thing Edwin did when he woke up was getting dressed and taking his phone and keys as quickly as he could. "Are you gonna apologize?" Zion asked him before he left, not looking up from his phone. "Yeah."
"Good luck with that," he muttered while the door closed shut, Brandon coming downstairs to talk to Zion about yesterday's events.
"So..." he said to Zion, who was still typing on his phone. Nick and Austin were no where to be found, probably sleeping.
"Are you gonna talk about how you interrupted my almost kiss with Caden? Because I'm not in the mood." Brandon scoffed, "you are never going to be in the mood, better talk about it now."
"B she never leaned in! I noticed alright? There's nothing to discuss." Brandon wanted to repeatedly slap Caden and Zion so their brain cells could start working. "You guys are both dumb!" he yelled, probably waking Nick and Austin up, "you obviously like her Z-"
"I do not!" Brandon took one of the pillows and threw it to him, hitting him right in the face. "Oh of course you don't! You were leaning in to see her better Z how dumb of me to misunderstand that." He was mocking him and Zion didn't like it.
"How long is it gonna take for you to realize Z?" Nick and Austin were both standing still in the stairs, listening in, "you like her but you are too stubborn, you don't wanna admit it because you are scared!"
"Ok yes I like her! Is that what you wanted to hear?" Brandon nodded. "But she doesn't like me back, she made it very clear yesterday."
"But she could! You just need to give her-" Brandon was quickly interrupted by Zion. "Time? Wait for her? This is not a damn movie B, I'm not gonna wait till she likes me."
"Fight for her, that's what you do when you like someone, or else..." Brandon thought for a second, making Zion impatient, "or else Edwin will realize it first and get her."
