Caden drank a bit more of the drink she had in her hand. She wasn't a fan of alcohol, but she still drank a bit of it when in parties. She never got drunk, and had one of those crazy nights making out with someone just to forget about them.

Caden was at the party of the end of her freshman year of college, she was 18, soon to be 19 in November. The party was in a club near Georgetown, the college she was attending. It was thrown by her soccer team, meaning she had to come to the party wether she wanted it or not.

Her boyfriend Jackson came to the party as well. Him and Caden have been dating for 4 years, they have one of those love in high school stories. Caden was new her freshman year of high school, she met him in one of the many classes they shared that year. Eventually they went to eachother's soccer games for support, to homecoming together and to parties as well. That summer Jackson asked Caden to be his girlfriend, earning a big smile from her along with their very first kiss.

They spent their whole high school years together, prom, games, hangouts. He was there when Caden got a scholarship to play for the soccer team of Georgetown, and she was there when he got accepted to many important colleges, choosing George Washington University as his new home for the next four years. Their senior year, both left North Carolina and started their new lives in Washington D.C.

Throughout her first year in college studying biochemistry, Caden gained a big number of followers on social media, along with a big fan base full of support and love for her. Her skillful soccer moves, and the many covers and dance videos she posted on Instagram gained her the popularity she had today. She wasn't one to brag, she never really acknowledged it. Jackson became famous as well, since he appeared multiple times on her socials, he loved the attention he got because of it. That partially made Caden upset.

The party was wild. If someone wasn't dancing they were drinking, and if someone wasn't drinking they were making out with someone. Caden was dancing to the song, jumping and moving around. She was trying to find Jackson so they could go home, it was 3 a.m already. Jackson was her ride to the building she lived in. He was so persistent in giving her a ride, he didn't want her to go alone so nothing bad could happen to her.

"Hey have you seen Jackson?" She kept asking around. No one knew where he was, Caden was getting worried. She went outside to wait for him there, sending him a text. She walked over to his car, but quickly stopped. Two people were in the car, moving around. She was ready to fight since she couldn't see well and thought that they were trying to steal the car. She came closer to it, gasping when she saw the two people.

Jackson was intensely making out with a girl. He didn't have a shirt on, and hers was on the way of getting out. Caden felt tears making their way out of her green eyes. As much as she didn't want to look sad she couldn't avoid it, 4 years of relationship to the trash. She decided not to interrupt, they sure weren't a thing now, and left the party walking by herself. She was glad it was summer and the weather wasn't cold, it was a bit chilly though, for once she didn't mind.

She arrived to her room later. Her room mate left a week ago for a cruise, meaning Caden was by herself until her mom picked her up tomorrow. She took all her makeup off and changed to a big shirt with some shorts, ready to go to sleep. She was crying a bit, she was part sad and part disappointed. She didn't expect him to do that to her, she thought he wasn't that type, he was always so good with her, made her feel loved and accepted and beautiful. He told her he wanted to get married to her, start a family and live happily.

What did she do wrong? She was asking herself that question. Was she annoying, ugly, not good enough? Was she a disappointment, a mistake for the past 4 years? She went back and thought about all their memories together, they never had sex. Maybe that was it, he was tired that after 4 years nothing intimate happened; she thought he respected the fact that she wasn't ready for anything of the sort. She guessed he lied and secretly wanted to.
