"And then he tried to kiss me." The girls all gasped. Caden told them everything since the time they arrived to the party, there was a lot of story left but the 'almost kiss' part needed to be mentioned.
"No way! What happened after?" Caden shrugged, "nothing much, Brandon interrupted and it stopped."
"But the real question is, did you want to kiss him?" Alexys looked at Caden, whose mouth formed a thin line. "Not really, I wasn't..."
"Ready?"
"Yeah," Caden nodded, "I was not expecting it and I'm kind of not over my ex." She confessed, ashamed to look at her friends.
Multiple people told her to forget about Jackson. It was part of the past, and true love always comes back. But it was impossible for her to do this, 4 years' a long time; she felt so attached to him she couldn't just get over him quickly.
"I get it, it's always hard to move on and it takes time. Take yours, maybe Zion and you are meant to be but go at your own pace. Time can make things better." Char put her hand on Caden's arm, comforting her. "Or worse." Alexys took a sip out of the lemonade she was now drinking.
"Don't ruin the moment!" Char laughed, it was so contagious that it had that effect on Caden as well.
"Multiple people gave me advice about him, but I don't know what I should do. Should I give it time, see if there's something?" Fiff nodded, "see where it goes, it won't hurt you to be curious."
"I just... I don't know if I like him or not." She looked down, avoiding all glances. "Don't be upset by that," a soft arm embraced her in a side hug, "it happens, you are confused and you don't know what your heart wants."
"You are torn in between holding onto Jackson and getting to Zion, I also believe your brother plays a big part in this too." The girls, even since the beginning, noticed the tension in between Zion and Caden. Everyone thought they could be cute together, because they matched so well, it hurt not seeing them together.
Caden never paid attention to it, but ever since the party she's been focusing more on who Zion is. She kept finding him amazing and interesting, and she felt her attention drawn to him.
Sometimes the way they act makes people suspect about their status. They both haven't acknowledged it or discussed about it, but it was obvious that Zion liked Caden. Did she return the feelings?
"You need time, don't rush things. Baby steps." Caden smiled, and gave them a thumbs up. "Is there more to the story?" Fiffany asked.
"Well after that everything started clearing up. You guys suspected that Edwin liked me, and you were all right," the girls looked at eachother and then back at her, "after everything that went down at the party, which I told you, Edwin was a bit distant and I was too."
"Does he still have a crush on you?"
"I'm getting to that. So Edwin agreed to meet me to talk while I was at the modeling place and we met up. We talked things through and he said that he didn't have feelings for me anymore. Today he's actually talking to Cole about it, to make things clear."
"So Eden is never going to be a thing?" Fiffany looked disappointed. She was sure they would end up together, but she didn't mind switching to Zaden. "Just friends."
"Is Cole ever suspicious about Zion?"
"I don't know. We haven't talked about crushes, but apparently Edwin told me that he suspected something going on with how he felt. Nothing about Zion though." Alexys shrugged, "maybe the boys know about it."
"Well enough about me and the boys, I already said everything. What about all of you, anything coming up?"
"Not much. I got a bunch of photoshoots coming up, and me and Aust are doing great. Probably will go on a date soon." Caden smiled and looked at Charlotte, motioning her to go next. "I told you guys about the problem I had with B, well since that day now it's solved. We talked things through and now each day we are doing better and better," Alexys whooped and the rest clapped and whistled, making Charlotte blush, "nothing really interesting other than that. What about you Lexys?"
