It was officially Zion's birthday, and yet again the boys were leaving Caden alone for the whole morning and afternoon until the party. She still wondered why she wasn't invited, she wanted to spend her time with Zion on his birthday too.
The doorbell rang and Caden headed to the front door of the house. It was probably Cole to get his things because he slept over at the guys' house yesterday. She was wrong, and Edwin stood at the house with a shopping bag in hands.
"Ed? What's up? Weren't you going out with the guys?" He placed the shopping bag ok the kitchen counter and turned to her. "They are still getting ready and I'm supposed to get the car, but I needed to give you this," he pointed to the bag, "I bought it for you yesterday."
"Oh ok we-"
"Bye see you later!" Edwin ran out of the house loudly closing the door, leaving Caden standing there mid sentence.
She peered at the bag, the three thousand dollars romper laying there at the bottom. She gaped at it, how could he have paid for all of that? She would thank him later at the party. She shook her head thinking of the boy, didn't he have Tiffany? Why did he gave it to her? She went back to yesterday's conversation at the mall, could it be...?
Her phone started to ring while she was still looking at the bag, she couldn't believe Edwin. Caden took the phone from her pocket and saw it was Charlotte, answering the call immediately.
"Hey Cad!"
"What's up?" She asked Char. "Nothing really, since you live so close to the boys do you mind us getting ready in your house?"
"Oh of course! I was gonna ask through the group anyways," both laughed. "Then we'll come later today. Thanks girl, see you soon!" Caden hung up the phone and turned on the TV. She had a lot of time to kill before the getting ready process started.
"My girlfriend!" Alexys ran inside the house engulfing Caden in a hug, "it's been a day but I missed you." It was now seven thirty and the girls just arrived, Fiff and Char were going through the door looking for Caden.
"You still don't have an outfit?" Fiff asked looking at what she was wearing, which was a hoodie and spandex. "Actually Edwin dropped something off today and I guess I'll wear it."
The girls all looked at the romper she took out of the bag. "Isn't that that one expensive ass romper from Gucci?" Caden nodded, it indeed was. They all shared the same reaction which was also Caden's earlier that morning.
