Well this was a quick update. Also get ready for some drama coming up. Also also, no, I am not Aubrey Simones. She's just an OC that I made up just for this story. If I write more fanfiction (which I probably will), she'll probably be a reoccurring side character. Anyway, enjoy this chapter!
Damian stood outside of the building, looking around for Jon. He knew that they would have to go inside as superheroes to save anyone who might still be inside, but he didn't want to just leave without Jon. He walked to the 6th grade class and found Jon's friend Kathy. He walked up to her. "Hey, have you seen Jon?"
"Uh, no. We got separated inside."
Damian cursed to himself and walked away. Where was he? Then a loud yell was heard from inside the building. Damian knew that voice anywhere. The idiot was still inside. Damian ran behind a bush and changed into his Robin uniform. Then he ran to the building and went inside. "Superboy!" Damian ran to the collapsed part of the building and started to yell for Jon. It was cloudy and he could barely see, but he kept going, tripping over debris and broken glass.
"Robin, over here." There was a week call from about twenty feet away and Damian ran faster than he'd ever run before. Jon was carrying ten people on his back and in his arms. He looked like he was about to fall over. Damian went up to him and took some of the people from Jon.
"Why did you come in here alone?" Damian yelled at him. There were tears in Jon's eyes.
"I just wanted to-" Jon choked. "Let's just leave." He punched a giant hole into the wall and flew out with the victims, leaving Damian behind. Damian followed on foot, running to the rest of the students and teachers. Jon had already dropped off his bunch and flown off; Damian could see him heading towards the city. What am I going to do with you?

Jon flew to the coffee shop and burst through the door, startling some of the customers inside. He looked around for Aubrey, but she wasn't there. Without asking, he went into the break room and found Aubrey sitting on a couch, alone. She jumped up when she saw him. "S-Superboy!" Then she noticed that he was crying and ran up to him to pull him in a hug. "Jon," she whispered, what's wrong?"
Jon held her tight. "Do you think Damian still likes me?" he sniffled. Aubrey grabbed his shoulders and pushed him back so she could look in his arms.
"Oh, of course he does! What makes you think he doesn't?" Aubrey brought him to the couch and they sat down together, Aubrey beginning to stroke Jon's hair to calm him down.
"It's just that Damian seems to want to do all these things that I'm not ready for, and I feel like he's annoyed with me for not being able to do them."
Aubrey sat there, thinking, for a moment. "Has he done or said anything to show that he's upset with you?" she asked.
"Well, no..."
"Then don't sweat it! As cold as Damian is, he still has a kind heart and would have already left you if he didn't like you anymore." She gave Jon one more tight squeeze and then stood up. "How about I get you some hot chocolate? Would that make you feel a little better?"
Jon nodded as Aubrey smiled and left to get him a cup of hot chocolate. Jon sat there and dried his tears when he heard Aubrey yelling. "No! Da- you can't go in there!" A second later the door burst open, Damian standing there with a serious expression on his face.
"Jon, we need to talk."
