Ok guys, I should be ok for now. Things are dying down. Anyway, I don't even know how long this story is gonna go! I don't know how many parts there are gonna be! I hope until I figure that out, you guys can enjoy these chapters. Have you noticed they're getting less mushy and more serious? See ya!
Jon stared out of his window with his head in his hand and a bored expression on his face. The last few months had been a toll on him, and missions with the Teen Titans weren't as exciting to him as they had been a year ago. High school was hard! Not because of his classes- those were fine- but his classmates! Jon's friendly and do-good personality made him a target at his school, even in Metropolis.
Of course, Jon could handle himself. He was a super, after all. But Jon didn't want to beat up his classmates, or be rude to them in retaliation. He did enough of that as Superboy.
He sighed as he crossed his arms on the window sill and rested his head, closing his eyes and letting the cool Autumn breeze brush his hair. Just as he did, he heard boots land on the tree outside of his window. Not moving, he felt the boots climb through his window next to him and enter his room. "Hey Jon."
"Hi Damian," Jon replied, still not moving.
"... Are you okay?"
Jon sat up and turned around to look at his boyfriend. To his surprise, Damian wasn't wearing his Robin uniform, but instead a dark grey turtleneck, black jeans, and black combat boots. The only thing that wasn't black was his trench coat, which was dark brown instead. "You're not here to take me out on patrol?" Jon asked, ignoring the question.
"No," Damian answered, "I'm here to take you out on a date."
"What!?" Jon was shocked. "Why didn't you tell me? I could've been ready by now!"
"But watching you flustered is so much more fun," Damian said with a smirk. Besides, I know you're not busy today. I'm a detective."
"Whatever. Give me a second to get dressed. What should I dress for?"
"Dress for whatever. My brothers jumped me and made me dress more casual than usual, so we should match."
Even though Jon thought Damian looked pretty well put together, he picked out a maroon sweater and faded blue jeans. He slipped on his favorite red converse and turned back to Damian. "Guess I'm ready now. Are we flying?"
Damian shook his head. "How could I ask you to fly us when I'm taking you on a date? I'm not that horrible. Follow me downstairs." Jon followed Damian out of the room and down the stairs.
"I'll be back Mom!" he yelled as they approached the front door. "I'm going out with Damian!"
"Ok," Lois yelled back. "Just don't be out too late!"
When Damian opened the door, a black convertible was waiting outside. Alfred was in the driver's seat. "Hello Mister Jonathan," he said. "Ready for your date?"
Jon smiled with excitement as Damian opened up the back door for him. "Damian, if you had such a sweet ride, why did you come through my window?" he asked as he got in the car.
"You know him," Alfred said, "always making an entrance."
"Ok, enough talking," Damian said as he got in next to Jon and closed the door. "To the amusement park!"
"To the what!?"
