Guess who's story was eligible for the Wattys?! I just submitted the story! I don't even know what's happening right now. Anyway enjoy the story as always!

Damian was walking over. Damian was walking over! Jon was having a mini panic attack. He tried to look like he couldn't care less but the truth was he had missed Damian for a whole year. Besides a few glances when they crossed paths, they hadn't talked this entire time. But how could he go back to him after he had broken it off?

"Superboy, we need to talk."

"Hey," was all Jon could say. Damian looked as handsome as ever. This was dumb.

"We have a mission."

"O-oh, we do?"

"Yeah, come with me," Damian said. He looked grim. Jon followed him out of the building. Damian climbed onto his motorcycle. "Hop on." Jon just stood there, unsure of whether or not this was a good idea.

"Damian," he said, dropping the code names, "what's going on?" Damian sighed.

"Batman told me that he needs us working together again and gave us a case. This wasn't my idea, ok. But if we're gonna do our jobs, we're gonna need to ignore the past and get on with it."

Jon hesitated but then got on the bike. "Hold on," Damian said in a low voice and Jon blushed as he wrapped his arms around Damian's waist. They zoomed off immediately, Jon's hair flying out of his face.

"Damian you're going way too fast!" He yelled against the wind. Damian said nothing and didn't slow down. Jon could barely see the terrain as they passed by. He leaned against Damian's back and closed his eyes. "Do you really think forgetting our past is the best idea?" He asked after a minute. He could barely hear himself.

They skidded to a halt and Jon squeezed Damian so that he wouldn't fly off. He slowly opened his eyes to see that they were at the pier that led to the Fortress of Attitude. Damian got off the bike and turned to face Jon. "If we're going to be professional, then yes, I think that is the best idea."

"But I hate professional..." Jon grumbled to himself as he hopped off. Damian smirked. They made their way to the pod and took off underwater.

"By the way," Damian pointed out, "your hair is messed up."

"Oh." Jon blushed and fixed his hair the best he could without a mirror. "You know, you said we should forget our past but then you bring me to this place."

"This is where Father sent the info on the criminal."

They arrived at the Fortress and stepped out of the pod. Damian walked straight to the computer and Jon followed. It felt so good to be back here. His eyes fell to the couch cushion where he had discovered Damian's copy of Saving the Heart about five years ago. His heart ached.

"Come here."

Jon walked up behind Damian who sat in the chair at the computer. Damian pointed out the information his father had sent. "It says here that the criminal has been spotted hiding out at this location. I think we should go there tonight and see if we can learn anything."

"Ok."

"Meet back here at midnight?"

"Yep."

Jon started to walk away but then he turned back. "I've missed you, Damian."

Damian looked shocked. Then he cleared his throat.

"I've missed you too, Jon."
