This was such a stressful week, oh my gosh! The comment section is the only think keeping me sane, lol! Anyway... actually I've got nothin. Enjoy the chapter!

In attempt to get away from his older brother, Damian dragged Jon further into the park. Despite his melancholy mood, Jon was amazed by all of the games and activities. He tried to get the Teen Titans and his classmates off of his mind and desperately scanned the park for another activity.

Damian suddenly stopped and Jon almost bumped into him. "What is it?" Jon asked.

"There's a Test Of  Strength game!" Damian pointed a few yards ahead of them and there it was.

"Damian, I know what you're thinking but what if I-"

"Just don't give it your all." Damian said. "Besides, we've been working on controlling your strength with the Titans anyway."

"Yeah, about that..."

"Oh! No one's in line now! Let's go!" Damian pulled Jon towards the game. "He'd like to try," he said to the boy working the machine.

"Cool, it's free," he replied with a smile. He handed the giant hammer to Jon, who gulped as he took it. Once again, a small crowd had appeared to see if he could actually win the prize or not. Taking a deep breath, Jon swung as gently as he could while still making a strong impact. Hitting the target right in the center, the ball flew up, breaking though the top of the game and shooting into the sky. The crowd was silent.

"I- um," Jon stuttered frantically. "I think one of the screws was loose or something! I'm sorry!"

"It's fine..." the boy said with an amazed look on his face.

"Do we still get the prize?" Damian asked eagerly.

"Um, sure," the boy said, handing Jon the top prize with disbelief on his face.

"Yes!" Damian exclaimed as the two walked away, the crowd slowly starting to buzz again. "You kinda failed at the controlling your strength part, but good job winning us the prize!"

"Yeah..."

"... I'm sorry, Jon," Damian said, frowning once he realized Jon's mood. "We've been doing a lot of what I want to do... Do you want to get some ice cream?"

Jon's face lit up. "Yes!" Damian smiled at Jon's excited expression. Somehow, even at fourteen, Jon still had that childish glow to him.

They approached an ice cream truck at the edge of the park. The man inside gave them a smile. "What can I get for you boys?"

"I'll have strawberry, please!" Jon said.

"Just vanilla for me," Damian said, pulling out his money. The man nodded and disappeared in the back of the truck to scoop the ice cream.

"Thanks Damian," Jon said as they waited.

"Of course Jon."

"You really just wanted vanilla?"

"Yeah. I like it simple."

Jon laughed. "Well next time-"

Jon was suddenly hit over the head with a rock, knocking him out and sending him falling to the ground. "Jon!" Damian turned around instantly only to be knocked out as well. A beautiful woman with bronze skin and long brown hair grabbed one leg each and dragged the boys away.

The ice cream man appeared at the window with a scoop of strawberry and a scoop of vanilla in his hands. "Here you go, sorry for the-" He stopped, confused and holding two ice cream cones with no one to give them to.
