School is a hot mess right now, but that's not important. What's important is that these boys are kidnapped and you need to know why. Enjoy the chapter!
Damian opened his eyes to more darkness. He tried to move but his hands were tied together with rope, zip ties and tape, ensuring he didn't escape. "Damn," he whispered to himself. His eyes began to adjust to the darkness and he saw Jon lying on the floor next to him. "Jon!" he yelled, trying to wake him up. "Jon get up!"
Jon shuffled in the darkness. "What? Damian I can't see!" Jon had been blindfolded.
"Use your heat vision!"
"I'm trying! It's laser resistant or something!"
"Well, well, well, look who's awake," came a voice Damian knew all too well. The lights came on and Talia al Ghul appeared. They were in an empty warehouse. Damian looked around desperately for an exit.
"Where are we, Talia?" Damian demanded. Her face went from a smirk to a frown.
"Still not calling me mother, huh?" she said. Her heels clicked as she approached them.
"Damian, your mom did this!?" Jon whisper yelled.
"Unfortunately," Damian grumbled. "How did you find us?" he asked Talia.
"Are you serious?" She laughed. "We heard word of two boys aiming perfectly on a squirting game, and then one of them breaking the Test of Strength game." She kneeled in front of Damian and smirked. "I knew it was my brilliant son and his little pet."
"He's not my pet," Damian growled.
"You say that, but we both know you're too cavalier to have friends." She stood up and went to Jon, grabbing him by his sweater. "But it's clear you care for him, you'd go crazy if I gave him even a scratch, wouldn't you?"
"Let me go!" Jon yelled, struggling in her grasp.
"Gladly. You're a pain." Talia punched Jon in the gut and threw him to the floor.
"You'll pay for that Talia!" Damian yelled.
"Maybe," she said. "Or maybe you're too weak." She pulled out a katana and approached Damian again. "If you can beat me in hand to hand combat, you and your toy are free to go."
"Ugh, this is the WORST DATE EVER!" Jon screamed, still struggling to get free.
"Why do you keep doing this?" Damian asked. "I've already beaten you before, what difference will it make now?"
"Damian, you grow weaker and weaker the more time you spend with your father and his hooligans you call brothers. I want to show you how soft you've become." Talia sliced off all of the restraints with one swift motion. She threw the sword across the warehouse, the clank echoing off the walls. "Get up and fight me."
Damian stood up and rubbed his wrists. "I don't want to fight you. I'm done with your games!"
"But you're not, Damian," Talia said with a smirk. "You're going to fight me because you don't want anything to happen to your little sweetheart." She got into battle stance. "If you fail, I will do unspeakable things to him."
"I hate you." Damian growled, getting into stance as well.
"That stings, darling," Talia said in mock disappointment. She lunged at him and the fight began.
