Part Four : Chapter Three

"Wait, what?"

Before Jon knew what was happening, everyone was in motion. Beast Boy turned into a lion and leaped at him while Raven fired up her hands chanting words Jon couldn't even try to understand. He ducked under Beast Boy and flew up into the air. "Guys this is crazy!"

Aqualad reached up with water and pulled Jon into the ground. "We know." As Jon scrambled to get up, Starfire flew above him and fired fireballs at him. Jon rolled out of the way just in time, only to be tripped by Damian. Flipping him over, Damian picked up Jon and threw him towards Beast Boy, who turned into a giant gorilla and caught him. As the Teen Titans neared him, Jon started to shake as he mustered up everything he had.

"AAAAAAHHH!" he screamed as he used his super strength to blast out of Beast Boys arms. He punched him into the wall, knocking him out. Raven attacked him, blasting magic energy  towards him. Flying around each blast, he got close to her and grabbed her arm, throwing her into Beast Boy. They both groaned.

With Jon distracted, Aqualad struck Jon's back with a slice of water, causing him to scream in pain. Turning around, Jon superblew in Aqualad's direction, freezing the water he was using. Without water, Aqualad jumped at Jon with his swords, which Jon knocked out of his hands instantly. Kicking him in the stomach, Jon had taken down Aqualad as well.

Frustrated, Starfire threw fireball after fireball. One hit Jon's arm, burning off a bit of the fabric. In anger, his eyes started to glow red. With a blast of heat vision, Starfire was nailed to the wall before sliding down to the floor.

Blinded by fury, Jon turned to Damian, who refused to show the fear he was experiencing. No, not fear. Concern. Jon flew at Damian with everything he had, eyes still glowing red. Damian crossed his swords to block the attack and then used them to slide around Jon. He kicked him down from behind.

Jon wasn't having it. As Damian raised his sword, he jumped up and tacked him, punching him and kicking him everywhere he could. All he saw was red. He pulled Damian's sword out of his hands by the blade and tossed it across the room. He pushed Damian to the floor and climbed on top of him, pinning him down with one hand. Wanting to finish this, he raised the other, ready to punch Damian.

"Superboy, calm down! It's me, Robin!" Damian yelled, putting his hands up. At the sound of Damian's voice, Jon hesitated and his eyes faded back to normal. He let go of Damian's shirt and blinked.

"I'm sorry," he said once he realized what he had almost done. He turned to the rest of the Teen Titans scattered around the room. "I'm so sorry!"

"Jon, it's okay!" Starfire told him as she walked over. "You succeeded."

"Yeah dude!" Beast Boy added as he slithered over as a snake. "As much as that hurt, that awesome!"

"Th-thanks guys!" Jon said. "Hopefully I won't have to fight you all ever again! That was horrible!"

"Yeah, yeah, can you get off of me now?" Damian said. Jon blushed and stood up off of Damian. Damian got up as well and brushed himself off.

"Superboy, you are hereby announced an official member of the Teen Titans," Aqualad said.

Despite the whirlpool of emotions Jon had been in in the past 24 hours, he had to admit as he shook Aqualad's hand, that he loved being thirteen.
