I'm that boat.
I'm that small, broken boat that just about keeps itself above the water.
And despite the waves crashing against the boats sides and the storms sending the wooden figure over the edge- it still floats.
Sometimes there's a few errors, a few cracks on the body, A few gashes on the stern- but it still goes.
Even though sometimes it feels like the water is going to swallow it, like it's going to drag it down to the depths of the ocean to drown and rot under the sea of a perfect world.
But sometimes even the sunrise
looks dull when you can't feel a spark or a flutter in your soul.; When your mind shuts off and everything goes numb.
That's when you don't want to be the broken boat anymore.
You want to drown.
You want to rot.
Because maybe then you won't have to feel anything or worry about the water eating you whole- because you'll be a part of it.
It's like a new home.
A home where you're finally not alone.
