Feral— wild and menacing

☁︎☀︎☁︎

Archie and Jughead were dating but Jughead liked to kiss other people.

It happened every week. Jughead would grab somebody at random whenever he saw the redhead coming towards him. He'd press his body against someone who wasn't his boyfriend. He'd let his lips entangle with someone who wasn't Archie. He'd let his eyes wander towards the jealous, complacent man and smirk. It was a game to him. Everything was always a game to him.

It never took long for Archie to crack, his gaze breaking away from Jughead's teasing one. He hated how his green eyes danced and twinkled as he cheated right in front of him like it was perfectly fine. It was sadistic. He took so much joy in making Archie suffer.

"Hey, can I ask you something?" Archie began. It was later in the day, after their classes had finished. Jughead loved the mall and always ended up dragging him there on Friday's. They were currently stood outside because smoking wasn't allowed in doors.

"You just did," Jughead answered in a dry tone. It sounded like he didn't care at all. That was probably accurate. He lit his cigarette calmly and drew in the smoke.

Archie sighed with a frown. He hated that Jughead smoked. Maybe if he wasn't dating him, he wouldn't find it as bad. The smoking complimented the man's endless number of tattoos on his toned arms, his dark wardrobe, and his wild attitude. He looked like a young Johnny Depp and it was hot. Archie didn't know why someone who looked like that even showed him any attention at all. He didn't get why they were dating or why he was hanging out with someone as reckless and careless as Jughead. "Why do you like to kiss other people?"

The raven haired beauty smiled at the question, immediately giving him his full attention which didn't happen often. He'd been waiting for Archie to grow the balls to ask him. "It's fun," he responded calmly.

"That's your answer to everything. It's what you said when I asked you why you like to steal or why you insist on damaging your lungs with those stupid cigarettes," the redhead pointed out.

"Do you have a problem with me kissing other people?" The man pushed.

"Well yeah of course I have a problem with it," Archie huffed.

"But it doesn't push you over the edge," Jughead said, laughing. He couldn't help but to shake his head and fix his attention back onto something else. Nothing he ever did made Archie passionate enough to do something to stop him. It was annoying. He just wanted Archie to care.

Archie felt himself pout once those green eyes drifted away from him. He hated how he was never interesting enough to get his own boyfriend's attention. "Well I'm not like you. I don't do something dumb and reckless every time something pisses me off."

"Maybe that's your problem. You sit back and let people walk all over you. You're complacent and pathetic. I like to take advantage of you. You practically ask for it," his boyfriend stated with a bored expression. He sunk down onto the ground crossed his leg over the other in an effort to seem unbothered. Truthfully, he was just waiting for the day Archie would crack.

"Then why are you dating me? Why keep doing this if you don't like to be controlled or tied down or whatever the hell you call yourself doing?"

Jughead snorted at that. His boyfriend was absolutely clueless. He liked to be put in his place and he wanted Archie to do it. He wanted Archie to come up to him angrily, rip him away from the endless amounts of people he kissed out of spite, and roughly take back what was his. He wanted Archie to slap his hand away when he tried to steal from the mall like he always did and he wanted Archie to tear the cigarette away from his mouth when he wanted to fuel his nicotine addiction because Archie didn't like it.
