She's Back

i go to sleep, hoping to wake up tomorrow.

but then it it me, i felt all the sorrow.

i pray for happiness, i cant even borrow.

so i lay and get ready for the morrow.

i twist and turn,

but these thoughts they burn.

it kills me to know its how i learn.

so did it just happen or did i earn?

that little girl, i thought she died

so wheres the hurt? wheres the pride?

you know shes still there, because she cried

but underneath her smile, there she hides

there are her eyes, so damp so dried.

she knows shes dying, shes dying inside

bravery, confidence at least she tried

cuz her heart fell in a drowning slide.
