The Great Hall Halloween

"Since everyone!"Boomed Dumbledore's voice. In seconds the Great Hall was dead silent. "Good, now for what everyone has been waiting for. When I call your name would you come up here til all of the champions are selected." The goblet of fire's flames sparked high as the first name came out."the first champion is from Dumstrang Viktor Krum!" Everyone's was cheering and screaming Krum. "Silence!" Yelled Dumbledore. Once everyone died down the goblet of fire's flames sparked again and another name came out "Well I have everyone's attention the next champion is from Beauxbatons Academy Fleur Delacour!" As Fleur walked down to Dumbledore the school was filled with cheers but not as loud as Viktor. Everyone got silent when the goblet spit out another name "And the last champion form Hogwarts is Cedric Diggory!" Cedric got up from his spot with the biggest smile on his face some people would say it hurt. Well Cedric was smiling for two reasons, reason number one he did it he is one of the champions and reason number two this was his chance to win over Hermione. Once Cedric was standing next to Dumbledore, Dumbledore started to talk " I would like to congratulate our three champions." Dumbledore did not get to finish his sentence as the goblet's fire turned red and sparked high, the pice of parchment fell in his hands. "Harry Potter!" Yelled Dumbledore "Harry go." Urged Hermione "Harry Potter!" Yelled Dumbledore again. Harry finally got out of seat and started to walk down to Dumbledore ignoring the whispers. Dumbledore put his hand on Harry's back and guided Harry to the back room. "Harry did you put your name in the goblet of fire!"asked Dumbledore calmly. "No sir I did not." Responded Harry. "Did you have an older student put your name in the goblet of fire?" Asked Dumbledore. "No sir I was just as surprised as you where sir." Said Harry. " Albus you can't let Potter participate he is only a boy." Cried out Professor. McGonagall. "I'm afraid McGonagall but the boy has to." Said Professor. Moody. "Well it looks like the first time in history we will have four champions instead of three." Sighed Dumbledore. Great thought Cedric, now Hermione will be to concentrated on watching Harry now it's going to be even harder to woo her now. Harry smirked Hermione would have to spend more time with him now. He knew she would help him with this tournament. Harry knew people have died in this tournament but he knew with Hermione's help all he had to do was survive the tasks thrown at him.

The Gryffindor Common Room
Harry walking into the common room seeing Hermione sitting on the couch facing the fire. He walked over and sat down next to her. "Oh Harry what happened please tell me you aren't competing." Said Hermione hugging Harry. "Please Hermione let go can't breathe." Said Harry wizzing. "Oh sorry Harry but please tell me what happened." "Um well once I got back there the other Champions gave me a wired look, and then Dumbledore came up to me and asked if I put my name in the goblet and of course my answer was no, then he asked if I had an older student put my name in the goblet and my answer was no. After the headmasters and mistress talked they told me I have no choice but to compete."
"Oh Harry that's so horrible but no matter what I will be with you throughout the whole thing I promise." "Thanks Mione." Harry said kissing Hermione on the cheek. "Well it's getting late we should be going to bed, night Harry." Hermione said as she started to walk to the girls domes. "Night Mione."

The Great Hall

Hermione and Harry where at the Gryffindor table with Neville and Ginny. (Neville and Ginny being the only ones who believe Harry and Hermione) when Cedric walked over. "Hey Potter can I talk to you in private?" Asked Cedric. Harry just nodded his head yes as he had a mouth full of eggs. "Follow me then." Said Cedric as he started walking towards the Great Hall entrance. Once the two of them were in a empty hall way Cedric turned around " So um Potter is it true you didn't put your name in the goblet and you didn't ask an older student?" "Yes I never put my name in the goblet or asked a older student to do so, I was just as surprised as you where to see me." Replied Harry. "Okay I believe you so why don't we work together then make sure it's a Hogwarts victory." "What do you think of that I watch your back and you watch mine and we make it a Hogwarts victory?" "I think that's a good idea we can practice spells together and help each other during tasks I like your idea Diggory." "Then let's shake on it make it official." Said Cedric as he reached out his hand. Harry took Cedric's outstretched hand and shook it. The two boys walked by to the Great Hall Harry to the Gryffindor table and Cedric to the Hufflepuff table. "So what did Diggory want?" Asked Hermione. "Well he wanted us to work together he wants Hogwarts to win this tournament so he said that we could practice together and watch each other's backs during the tasks." "Oh Harry please tell me you agreed to this?" "Hermione I'm not like Ron of course I accepted it." Ginny leaned over to whisper into Hermione's ear " off course you wanted to know if Harry excepted you have a crush on diggory! I knew it." " I do not Gin I'm just really glad that Diggory asked Harry I want Hogwarts to win this even though it is dangerous." Ginny just shook her head and went back to her breakfast.
Free period
Harry was just trying to walk to the common room in peace but peace clearly wasn't going to happen. Everywhere he looked there was someone wearing a pin that said
" support the real Hogwarts champion Cedric Diggory then the pin changed to say Potter stinks." When Harry thought his day couldn't get any better Draco freaking Malfoy was the one handing out the pins. " Hey guys look it's the cheater Potter." Said Draco with a smirk on his face. "Hey Potter look at the pins I made don't you like them?" "Leave him alone Malfoy and ten points from Slytherin from tormenting another student." Cedric said with a pretty angry look on his face. "You can't take points of Diggory you aren't a prefect." Snarled Draco. "Oh really I can't I think I can and other ten points from Slytherin for disrespecting a prefect." Said Cedric pulling out his prefect badge. "Oh and one more thing Malfoy put those badges away it's just stupid." Cedric said walking away. "Wait Diggory!" Yelled Harry walking towards Cedric. Cedric turned around. "Yes Potter?" "I wanted to thank you for standing up for me." Cedric smiled "Do you really think I was going to let Malfoy get away with that we are teammates now Potter."
