Start of Dumbledore's Army

*The Gryffindor common room*
As it was late at night it was only the golden Trio in the common room.
So where would we hold these meetings?" questioned Harry. Ron dumbly replied, "Under the stands near the Quidditch Pitch?" Hermione gave Ron a "Are you dumb?" look. "No, Ronald, we need a place that Umbridge will not be able to find us at all. It needs to be a place where everyone in Dumbledore's Army will be able to find but not let anyone else, in. " Said, Hermione. Harry nodded his head in agreement. For a moment it was silent until Hermione spoke again "How about the Come and Go room?" Harry pondered for a minute before replying "Yeah, Hermione that's a brilliant idea! But how will we tell people about the meetings without getting caught?" "Don't worry Harry I got that covered I have made these coins that heat up when there is a message, we'll use the coins to tell people about the meetings." exclaimed Hermione Excitedly.
*Next day in the great hall*
As Hermione sat next to Ginny she nodded to the younger witch to look under the table. Under the table, Hermione had Ginny's coin with a note with it. Ginny looked around making sure no one was looking in her direction she quickly grabbed the coin and note and put in her pocket. Hermione smiled at the younger witch as she felt Ginny take it. Hermione looked across the table toward Neville. Neville in return gave Hermione a knowing look. Hermione looked under the table to see Nevilles waiting for the coin. Quickly Hermione gave Neville the coin. Sitting next to her was Fred. She looked at Fred with a smile and quickly handed him three coins. One of him, his twin and Lee who sat next to George. Hermione spotted Luna in the corner of her eye. Hermione quickly got up and walked over to the Ravenclaw table. Hermione handed a coin quickly to Luna. Luna mouthed a Thank you" towards Hermione. Hermione smiled at the younger girl as she made her way to Cho and her friends. Hermione quickly gave the girls their coins before hurrying back to the Gryffindor table.
* Room of Requirements later that night*
"Alright, everyone, I'm glad that you were able to find your way here!" exclaimed Harry. "I would like everyone to find a partner." Harry started walking towards Hermione but Fred was faster. Harry couldn't help but let out a quiet growl. Harry continued walking towards Hermione hoping to show Fred that even though they had a connection he had a better connection with Hermione. "Hermione would you do the honors of being my partner" Harry said quickly. Hermione looked stunned she kept looking back and forth from Harry to Fred. "Sorry Potter but I asked her first." Grumbled Fred but loud enough for Harry and Hermione to hear. "So? I didn't hear a yes. So I can still ask her." Hissed Harry his anger rising. "Then let's have Hermione choose. Ok Granger me or Potter?" Said Fred leaning towards Hermione. Hermione opened her mouth but nothing came out. She looked at both boys. She looked over at Fred she had a close relationship with Fred recently maybe even had romantic feelings for him. But Harry, Harry was her best friend and has been for five years. " Come  on Hermione I'm your best friend just chose me." Exclaimed Harry. Hermione looked at Harry for a second and tried to open her mouth again but unable to speak. "Come on Granger, you know you want me as your partner." Drawled Fred. Harry's anger boiled over. "Come on Hermione! You can't tell me that you pick Fred over me! I have been there for you since day one! Where was he the last five years!" Yelled Harry. The whole room went silent. Fred was the first to speak "You know what Potter! You're right I wasn't with Hermione during her first four years of Hogwarts! And do you know why? Because she was always saving your lazy butt and making sure you stay on top of school work!" Yelled Fred back. Harry's anger was now over the top. But before Harry could spat out words back at Fred Hermione chose this time to speak "SHUT UP BOTH OF YOU! SURE I WAS HELPING HARRY BUT THAT'S BECAUSE I NEEDED TO! I NEEDED TO BE WITH HIM! AND HARRY YOU ARE RIGHT FRED NEVER WAS A MAIN PART OF MY LIFE THE PAST FOUR YEARS BUT HE WAS THERE FOR ME WHEN I NEEDED SOMEONE! Harry and Fred were shocked along with everyone else. "Hermione" both Fred and Harry said. But stoped by Hermione "No more I'm done hearing you two fight about who I choose as a partner." Hermione looked over a Neville and smiled "Neville would you like to be my partner?" Questioned Hermione. "Sorry Hermione but Luna and I are parters already. Hermione smiled "that's all right." Ginny smiling walked over to Hermione "Come on Hermione we can be partners!" Exclaimed Ginny. Hermione smiled as the younger witch dragged her to the back of the room. Fred and Harry looked dumbstruck as they watched Ginny drag Hermione away from them. Ginny looked over her shoulder and smirked at the two boys. Hermione might not see it that those two boys were head over heels for her but Ginny knew her older brother the best. Ginny knee by that fight that both boys definitely were head over heals for Hermione Granger, weather she liked it or not. Ginny couldn't help but take one more look at her brother she knew that look the same look her father gave her mother. Ginny forced herself to look back at Hermione and start with the lesson with the older witch.
**two weeks later Gryffindor common room**
Hermione, Harry, Ron and Ginny we're sitting in the common room in comfortable silence Hermione reading a book while Harry sat close to Hermione. And Ron and Ginny had a quiet conversation between the two. Unfortunately for the four the Weasley twins came in quite loudly. Fred being the first looked at how close Hermione and Harry were let jealousy flash quickly, but the pain in his hand forget the two sitting a little two closely. Following behind Fred was George who was also clutching his hand. Hermione who put her book down when she heard the two boys enter the common room quickly got up out of her seat and walked over to the boys. To the displeasure of Harry who loved her being so close to him watched as his sole mate and best friend walked over to the two boys. "Show me Your hands Fred and George." Demanded Hermione. Fred grumped something under his breath before handing out his hand to Hermione. Hermione studied his hand which had the words "I promise to never cause mischief again." Hermione gasped "blood quills." Hermione whispered."congrats Granger you figured it out." Drawled George. "She used blood quills on the two of you. But she can't that's illegal you two need to report this to Dumbledore!" Exclaimed Hermione. "Granger you don't think we thought about that? If we do that, that means the old toad won. Why let her win?" Exclaimed Fred. Hermione shook her head as she took out her wand. "George let me see your hand I'll heal it." Whispered Hermione as she finished up with Fred's hand. George just sighed as he handed over his hand to Hermione.
**next day in the Great hall**
Fred decided that today he would ask Hermione Granger to be his girlfriend. As Harry walked into the Great hall his heart broke into a million of pieces for the second...no the third time. As he watched Hermione squeal a "Yes" then to kiss Fred on the lips.

Thanks for being patient as I wrote this chapter... I've been super busy with school and swimming so this pass three weeks I have all of the free time in The whole world that I had to finish this chapter and to start the next. I hope everyone is safe and healthy during this horrible time.
