The third task

A certain Hufflepuff with honey brown hair and gray eyes sat at the Hufflepuff table. Cedric has an unsettling feeling in his stomach that something horrible was going to happen during the final task later today. He just couldn't put his finger on it. He believed it could be that Hermione was meeting his parents for the first time. He was a nervous wreck about that his mother didn't approve Cho when he dated her last year and she didn't approve the girlfriend before Cho. His dad on the other hand loved Cho and the other girl before Cho. So he didn't worry about his father it was just his mother he worried more about. Cedric smiled as he watched Hermione walk into the Great Hall and sat next to the youngest Weasley. Cedric got up from the Hufflepuff table and walked behind Hermione raping his arms around her waist. Whispering in her ear "Morning Monie." Hermione turned around and gave Cedric an quick peck on the lips. "Morning Ced. You look worried what's wrong?" Cedric shook his head "nothing is wrong." He lied. Hermione just shook her head knowing he was lying but didn't want to fight with him. Cedric sat down next to her and started to fill his plate. Hermione gave him a weird look. Felling Hermione's stare on him he looked up from his plate and asked "what?" "Well started Hermione "You aren't a Gryffindor so why are you eating here but not that I'm complaining." Added Hermione. Cedric smiled "I just want to eat breakfast with my girlfriend is that a crime?" Hermione shook her head no and kissed Cedric on the cheek and went back to eating her breakfast.

One hour before the third task.
For Hermione it came quicker than she wanted to. Cedric was dragging her to go met his parents. Yes, she met his father back in August but as Harry Potter's best friend not as Cedric's girlfriend. She was nervous as hell. She didn't know his parents would react to Cedric dating a younger girl. She didn't know what they would think of their son dating a plain Jain like her. Cedric was very handsome there was no denying that nobody could disagree with that he was the "golden boy". What felt like a
million of years have gone by she was standing
in front of Mr and Mrs. Diggory. She listened as Cedric introduced her to his parents. " It's nice to meet you Mr and Mrs. Diggory." Hermione heard her say. Mr. Diggory smiled and shook his head "Miss Granger your Cedric's girlfriend you don't have to call us Mr and Mrs. Diggory, you can call us Amos and Danielle. Hermione watched as Cedric's face turn from a pale to a cheery red. "Well mother and father Hermione and I must be on our way I need to be in the tent in five minutes." Said Cedric as he waved goodbye to his parents. Cedric grabbed Hermione's hand and dragged her to the tent. As Cedric opened the flap of the tent Hermione flung herself around Harry. As Harry found his balance his smelled Hermione's perfume the smell always calmed him and right now he really needed it. He was nervous as hell and still couldn't tell Hermione about his dream (he did tell Sirius about it and he said to keep an eye on it) his gut was telling him that it was going to happen in the maze tonight. After what seemed like an forever the champions were called out to the stadium. First Cedric and Harry walked it with Viktor and Fleur flowing behind. "Cedric Diggory and Harry Potter champions of Hogwarts will go in first into the maze as they are both tied for first, then Victor Krum champion of Durmstrang will go in five minutes after, last but not least Fleur champion of Beauxbatons will go in ten minutes later." Boomed Dumbledore's voice "The person to reach the cup first will win the triwizzard tournament." Boomed Dumbledore. "On the signal the two champions will go in the maze." Flinch sent the canon off and both Harry and Cedric slowly walked into the maze. Finally five minutes has gone by and Viktor followed Harry and Cedric into the maze. Then it was time for Fleur to go into the maze. Hermione's knuckles turned white waiting for something to happen. Hermione hears a scream panicked she looks at the maze and sees red sparks shoot into the sky. Seconds later she sees a scared Fleur. Not long after Fleur is brought back Viktor is back.

"Grab the cup Harry you deserve it more than me!" Yelled Cedric. Harry shook his head no "No,Cedric your the true Hogwarts champion I'm just a mistake champion." Yelled Harry back. " You got here first, take it finish this once and for all!" Yelled Cedric back. " We both take it then it will still be a Hogwarts win." Cedric shook his head yes "on the count of three we will both grab the cup." Yelled Cedric. Harry nodded his head agreeing with Cedric. " okay one two three." Yelled Cedric as they both reached for the cup. They landed with a loud thud. " Do you think this is particularly the tournament?" Asked Cedric. Harry shook his head no " They would of told us." " Wands out don't you reckon?" Questioned Cedric. Harry nodded again as he grabbed his wand. Harry realized that this is where his dream was. "Cedric get back to the cup now." Yelled Harry. " Kill the spare." Whispered the voice. "Avada Kedava!" Yelled the other voice. Harry was to late Cedric was dead. He couldn't go back in time to save him there was nothing that he could do to save Cedric Diggory. Cedric Diggory was dead.

I feel really bad for killing Cedric but I needed to just like the book and movie because I needed to for the story to keep moving.
