As the weeks had passed, Katrina was getting into a routine. She even returned to work. With her returning to work, Michael went back as well. He made sure they checked in with each other throughout the day. While Katrina was at the library one Friday night, she found herself singing down the paths. She was putting books away and singing.

As she was walking down the aisles, she was finding herself feeling like a kid again. When Katrina was younger, she loved books. She loved how when she was reading, it was like her mind was taking her on an adventure. Katrina was thrilled by the fact she was literally surrounded by books.

Katrina thought about how difficult it's been for her to have to relearn what she had already known how to do. She was happy knowing Michael was there for her. She was just wondering when she would feel like herself again. She felt off not being able to bask in all that comes as being a wife and knowing she is strong and can do whatever her heart desires.

As she was wrapping up when moving things back where they belonged, she wondered what made her become a writer in the first place. She knew she loved the feeling and how her imagination went wild. She just couldn't figure out what her muse was. After a while of being lost in her thoughts, she finally went back to the desk.

When Michael picked Katrina up from work, he noticed the big smile on her face. He said, "did you have a good day at work?" "I did. I got to spend time really walking around the library. I felt like a kid again. It was amazing." "I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. I've been thinking about you all day." "Really?" "Yes." "I've thought about you too. My mind has been sending me flashes of memories." "Which memory have you seen?" She was happy he wanted to know.

"It was fuzzy, but it was of you and me kissing." Michael said, "at least you are starting to get somewhere." "You're right. It also means I just can't stop thinking about when we kiss." "I wonder why?" "Oh, you love it." "Yes I do." He leaned over and gave her a kiss. When they got to the house, Michael said, "it's going to get better." "I hope so. I feel like there is a part of me missing." Michael knew at that moment, his wife was feeling defeated.

Michael put his arm around her waist, said, "don't worry, your memories will be back sooner than you think." Over the next couple of weeks, Katrina found what Michael said rang true. One Friday night while Katrina was waiting for Michael to pick her up, she was sitting at the desk reading Great Expectations. All of a sudden, her mind was having an explosion of pictures flash before her eyes. She even remembered the wedding, their honeymoon, and the accident.

When Katrina saw Michael outside, she closed the book, locked the doors, and headed to his car. When she got up to him, she gave him a hug and kiss. He said, "you're happy to see me. What did I do?" Katrina sat in the car. She said, "you stuck by me honey dew." Michael sat down and said, "you got your memories back." "What gave you that clue?" "You called me honey dew and it's been a little minute."

Katrina said, "yes and guess what?" "What?" By this time they were already halfway home. "I owe you from our anniversary." Michael looked at Katrina and she had this tempting smile on her face. "Baby, are you sure your body can handle it?" Katrina gave him a stern look. She said, "look now, my mind, soul and body has had time to recuperate. I want you and that's that." Michael started laughing. He said, "yes, my wife is truly herself again."

"You bet, and why did you let me go without having dinner made for us? I don't mind your cooking, but you know me." Michael knew he was going to hear it when she finally noticed. He just pulled in the driveway, parked and turned the car off. He turned and said, "it was the only time I could really get to do stuff for you. You are independent and strong. At the same time I just wanted to spoil you. Is that wrong to ask of my wife?" Katrina put her head down. She didn't mean to make him feel bad. She unclipped herself, and wrapped her arms around him. They started kissing.
