As the weeks passed on, they had each made up for the week they were gone. Katrina was back to working five days at the library. She was still having time to make dinner for Michael. She was good at keeping the house clean. She had finally found the balance she needed. She felt like the trips they took, did a number on her. She learned how to be patient and how to stay calm. She was glad she got the chance to scream. She even took the technique and used it in her writing. When she was sitting in her writing room, one Saturday night, she chose to picture herself at the Grand Canyon. She was frustrated with her writing. When she pictured herself at the Grand Canyon, she let out one big scream. When she got done screaming into one of her pillows on the couch, she got up and went back to the desk.

When she was at the desk, she decided she was going to take two deep breaths and then she got back to typing. She typed all the way up until 2am. She was proud of herself for getting farther with her story. She knew she was going to have to make up for the sleep she missed out on. Katrina got herself together and finished typing the chapter she was on. When she got done, she saved the document. She closed out Microsoft word and closed out her computer. She got up and went to bed. She said her prayers and went to sleep. For the next couple of weeks that was her routine. The only time it changed a little was when she knew Michael was home. When he was home, she would spend some time with him and fall asleep in his arms. She liked having her cuddle buddy with her. She knew life was better with him there.

When she talked to her parents after months of not talking to them, she told them about how she loved her married life. She told them about her work and her books. She told them about the trips they went on. When Katrina felt like she had told them enough, she said I love you and told them she would talk to them soon. Once she was off the phone, she hung up the phone and looked back at Michael. It was time for them to have their love making moment. She liked when they could make love after a hard day. She had delayed it that night because she called her parents first. Michael said, "do you feel better now?" "Yes. I could tell they didn't care, but you know what, at least they know I made something of myself." "True." Katrina kissed him, and it was on from there. They were happy in bliss for the rest of the night.

With the weeks and months passing by, Katrina and Michael were back into their working routine. They were still planning out the trip to Paris. Katrina was overjoyed because it was one of the trips she has been wanting to go on since she was a child. She was proud of herself for putting her money away and being smart. From each paycheck she got, she put money away. Katrina just kept working hard and keeping her wifely duties attention to. She didn't want to slack on anything. She gave herself a hard time as it was. When it came time for their two-year anniversary, they took the trip to Paris. Katrina was excited the whole plane ride. She let her excitement take over, when she realized they were no longer on the ground. She even put cotton in her ear, so her ears wouldn't pop. She was nervous but prepared.

Katrina took all the necessary precautions. She knew she was going to have to be careful. She even double checked with Michael to make sure he was prepared. When Katrina was assured everything was straight, she calmed down and sat by the window again. She ate some peanuts and watched a movie. She fell asleep by 12. When she got up again it was 5am. She looked out the window, and saw the sky was still dark. Katrina fixed the small pillow and went back to sleep. When she got up again, it was day time. Michael tapped her and asked how she slept. "I slept okay. I'm hungry though." When their flight attendant came through with the cart, they got some food. Michael said, "when we land, we get to try some French cuisine." Katrina smiled at the thought. She was going to try some French pizza and other foods.

When they got to their hotel room, the suite was nice and big. It was nothing compared to their hotel rooms in the U.S. Their room was big and there was a couch and a big bed. Katrina felt like they were in one of those presidential suites. When they were comfortable, Katrina and Michael made kissy faces at each other and decided they weren't going to leave the room for three hours. When they did leave the room, they made sure they were dressed for the weather. They went and saw the sights. They took a ton of pictures. They got to stand in front of the Eiffel Tower. When they were standing in front of it, they had a person take a couple of shots of them. Katrina was so exuberant, and she was glad they had come on their anniversary. It just made it even more special. They held hands as they walked around, and they talked too.

After a while of them traveling around on foot, Michael got hungry. He said, "babe, let's find a pizza place. I don't want to do any pasta just yet." She laughed at him. She liked how he was thinking, but at the same time, she knew Italy was more for the pasta. When they walked a little bit further from one of the museum's they found a pizza shop. When they went inside, they sat down and ate. While they were eating, all you heard was Michael said, "man, this pizza is slamming. I got to get more." Katrina hadn't heard him talk about pizza like that, since back when they were having their card party at the house. They shared the pizza and when they got done, they headed back to the hotel. When they got there, Katrina showed Michael the new story she was working on. Michael asked her if the guy in the story the main character was. "Yes, but I am still working on his character. I don't know if my readers are going to hate him or love him. I'm thinking about putting twists in the story too. It's going to be wonderful."

They laughed and played cards for a little while. When they got done, they showered and got ready for dinner. They went to a romantic spot a block away from the hotel. When they got done eating, they went back to the hotel. They changed and went to bed. They went to bed wrapped up in the middle of the bed. When they got up, they did some more sight seeing and then stayed in for the rest of the day. They spent that time snuggled up in the bed. They took turns laying on each other. Michael said, "it's been a while since we've done this." "You're right. I'm glad we are having this time. We have finally made it past the beginning hurtles." "Yes, and now we have our fifth anniversary to look forward to." "You are correct my honey dew." "Yeah and by that time I hope we can take that trip to Italy." Katrina said, "oh yes. I will save a whole bunch more then."

"I know. I remember that night when we were laying in bed and you told me you wanted to get married there. I remember the whole conversation." "Okay, since you remember the whole conversation, where in Italy did, I want to get married?" Michael was playing the conversation back in his head. Katrina watched as he was thinking. She thought his thinking face was cute. He said, "the gondola." "You're correct. You do pay attention." "Yes, where did I originally want to take you on our honeymoon?" Katrina thought back to the conversation and said, "you wanted to take me to Greece." "You are correct, but where in Greece?" That part left Katrina stumped. She said, "that part I don't remember." "I give you that one. I hadn't decided where in Greece." Katrina said, "phew, I thought I was going to be in trouble."

Michael started laughing. She said, "that's not funny." Michael said, "alright. Let's watch a movie." "Okay." They turned on the TV. Katrina saw the movie Monte Carlo was on. She hadn't watched that movie since she was a teenager. Michael said, "I see the look in your eyes. We can watch this and then we're going to watch Deadpool." Katrina said, "I like that movie too." Michael was pleased he could spend time with Katrina and not have to worry about his or her phone going off. He didn't have to worry about them going to work in the morning. He knew if she wanted to cuddle and spoon, they could. He knew if they wanted to stay in bed the next day they could. He was glad he got this trip set for two weeks. He was happy he had vacation time. He was going to enjoy the time he had away and for the time he could spend with her.

As they were watching the movie, Michael saw how Katrina's eyes were glued to the movie. At the same time as her eyes were glued to the TV, Katrina wasn't letting Michael move. When the movie was over, they switched to watching Deadpool. Katrina couldn't help but laugh. She liked the Deadpool movies. She was a big fan of Ryan Reynolds. Katrina and Michael watched both Deadpool movies and fell asleep. They were snuggled up together. Katrina rubbed her head on his chest. She felt good whenever she laid on him. It was her favorite place to lay on him. She could stay like that forever if they didn't have to go anywhere. Michael had always thought it was funny. She would fall asleep so quickly when she laid on him. They didn't wake up again until 9. When they got up, they showered and got dressed.
