When Katrina got up, she went to their room and pulled out her Zumba kit. She took it into the living room. As she was setting up, Michael walked in the door. He said, "honey, what are you doing?" "I was getting ready to exercise." He dropped his bag on the chair and walked over to her. He gave her a kiss. He said, "I haven't seen that hair in a while." "I know. I did my hair and a whole lot today." "I'm glad to see you aren't wasting your days away in bed." "Nope. I'm going to do some stuff tomorrow too."

Michael said, "I have a day planned for us. I'm off tomorrow. You are going to need your rest." Katrina gave him a questionable look. She wanted to know what he was up to. She knew he wasn't going to tell her. She knew he was big on adventure. She figured she would have it right by morning. Michael said, "I know that brain of yours is going. I'm not going to tell you. It's also more than one thing." Katrina sucked her teeth at him. He said, "don't worry, you're going to love it."

Katrina knew she was going to have to wait. She wasn't going to be happy about it. Once Michael went to shower, Katrina finished setting up the Zumba. She did a couple of routines before she felt her legs throbbing. Katrina knew Michael was right about everything. She knew she was going to love whatever it was they were going to do. She loved spending time with him. She liked when he made her feel special. It's one of the reasons why she fell in love with him.

Katrina and Michael were happy in bliss. They were able to enjoy life and still find a balance. Katrina just couldn't get over the fact Michael was planning something special. She just couldn't put her finger on what he was talking about. She knew he wasn't going to let her in on the secret. She kept wishing he would. As the next morning came, Katrina was wide awake. When Michael got up, he found Katrina dressed and, in the kitchen making coffee. He walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her. He said, "good morning my sweet. Did you sleep well?"

"I did, and I want to know so ad." He gave her a kiss and said, "I'm not telling you. I want you to be surprised. I am going to knock your socks off. You know me." Katrina said, "I do know you. It's the same reason why we aren't talking about what we are going to do today." "Very true. You know I got to have moments when I can truly spend time with you." "I accept it." He went to their room. He showered and got dressed. When he came out, they headed out in his car. As he was driving, they were holding hands.

Michael said, "I saw you got your notebooks in the back seat. That's a really good thing." Katrina said, "why is that a good thing?" "You'll see." Katrina still couldn't figure out what he has planned for them. As they pulled up to the library, Katrina got upset. She said, "why are we at my job?" Michael said, "I am picking up something." Katrina said, "babe, I know it's not a book. I have literally put all the books that were out away yesterday." "It's something hidden."

Katrina wanted to know what it was. Michael went inside and went straight into the men's room. He opened the vent at the bottom of the last stall. He pulled out a copy of Katrina's book Internally and Externally at War. He took the book she was writing and got it copyrighted. He closed back up the vent and went outside. He got in the car and drove off. As he was driving, Katrina was watching him. He didn't say anything, and she wanted to know what it was he put under his seat.

She said, "what do you have there?" Michael said, "it's something for later. You will find out in all due time." Katrina was starting to get frustrated. She wanted to know what he was up to. She couldn't figure out why they were going to different places and what it was supposed to bring. Michael said, "you can't stand not knowing anything. I know it's one of the things you can't take. At this point I want you to. I want you to bare through the waiting. I have plans for you and you are going to ruin the sweet part of it because you don't know what I'm doing. Just know it's all for you and it's because I love you that much." Katrina said "I love you too. You know sometimes my emotions get the better of me. I let them take over and then, everything comes out crazy. I will contain myself. I am just wondering what is so big you couldn't just tell me."

Michael said, "I want you to enjoy yourself without having to think about it." Just as he said that he had pulled up to their former middle school. He said, "come on sweetie. It's time to take a trip down memory lane." Katrina said, "how are you so sure all my favorite teachers are still here?" "I called and checked of course. I planned too. By the way, go ahead and get our passes. I got to park." Katrina got out and went to the front office. She got two visitor passes and talked to their former principal. When Katrina talked to Principal Leftakis, she found out about how everything was set up, and he was told not to inform her of anything. Katrina knew her husband was just as smart as she was. She knew he was going to make it tough for her to figure it out. When Michael came up to the office, she said, "I got the passes. I see you have something in your jacket pocket. Michael laughed and said, "you're looking at the imprint. You still don't know what it is. It's for me to know and for you to find out." Katrina disliked it when he said that. She knew he meant business then.

The first teacher Michael took Katrina to see was Mr. Bloom. He was her learning strategies teacher back when she was in sixth grade. Katrina always thought he had the power to make big changes happen. Of course, at that time, Katrina was 12 and had a huge imagination. Katrina said, "hi Mr. Bloom. It's been a very long time. How is everything?" Mr. Bloom said, "as you can see, I am still teaching. A lot of the teachers you remember have moved on. Not all the ones you had stayed here. Some transferred schools." Katrina said, "I bet. I loved this school because of the teachers and the fact I was able to do a ton." Mr. Bloom said, "you were an overachiever." Michael said, "even now she still is." Katrina said, "really? I think I have calmed down since high school." "I know if you were anything like how you were in sixth grade, I know your teachers were thinking you were highly intelligent." Katrina said, "you are correct. I had to give my all. Otherwise, I wasn't truly being myself."

Once they left Mr. Bloom, Michael took Katrina to see her former Life Science teacher Mrs. Paroline. Katrina always knew Mrs. Paroline was going to force you to understand what she was telling you one way or another. When they stepped into her classroom, the first thing Katrina wanted to do, was sitting in her old seat. Michael thought Katrina was losing it. Katrina said, "look, I haven't been here in years. I'm surprised you were able to accomplish doing this." When Katrina was talking to Mrs. Paroline, she found about how things went when they changed principals. Katrina told Mrs. Paroline about how when she was younger she used to find herself singing the Voyage of the Mimi theme song. Mrs. Paroline laughed. she thought Katrina was funny and she knew a lot of her students had liked those videos. Katrina said, "at first I was worried I wasn't going to pass your class. Then when I figured out a different way to study, I was happy."

Mrs. Paroline said, "I remember when those kids broke into your locker and I helped you clean it up and they stole your notes." Katrina said, "I'm shocked you remember that." Mrs. Paroline said, "I do remember a lot. I remember hearing about rumors of you and this guy breaking up. I remember hearing about you moving." Katrina said, 'wow, the word really did pass around the school fast. I just thought it was the seventh grade." Mrs. Paroline said, "by the way, sometimes those who do things just to get a rise out of you, are the ones who wish they were you." Katrina smiled at her. She knew Mrs. Paroline was telling the truth. Katrina had spent so much time walking these halls and being taught by these teachers. She had done some of her best school work in the sixth grade. Katrina was happy to have seen her. Katrina said, "Mrs. Paroline can I ask you an off the subject question?" "Sure." "Do you still like diet Sunkist?" "Yes." Mrs. Paroline laughed. She said, "your memory may be just as good as mine." Katrina laughed. She said, "with me taking time to work on stories from when I was growing up, all those past memories are coming to the surface."

A lot of times, as you go through life, there will be moments where things from a past life will pop up." "I have heard that before. It's about the memory. It's about how I learn from it." "Exactly." Before they left Mrs. Paroline, Katrina gave her a hug. Katrina was happy Michael took her to see her favorite teachers. She started wondering if he really got all of her favorite teachers in one spot. Katrina knew some of her favorite teachers were in a different state too. She knew he wasn't going to have the ability to pull it off. Michael noticed Katrina being quiet, as they were walking down the hall. Suddenly, she stuck her hand out and clung to him. She said, "this reminds me of when we used to walk down the halls." Michael said, "I remember when we tried to have our first kiss." "Oh my gosh, I was so mad the bell had ruined it. The whole thing was perfect." Michael said, "Mr. Bloom let us go early and I was happy walking you to your locker." "Yes, it made me smile a whole lot. We were so close, and the bell rang. Not to mention Mrs. Behann had opened her classroom door."
