Michael and Katrina were pleased with their conversation. They went to bed with smiles on their faces. They were snuggled up in the middle. They were even texting each other every day, all day again. It was helping build their relationship up again. He would tell her about how much he missed her. She would tell him about how her day was going. They would tell each other I love you and they would talk on the phone when they were on their breaks. Katrina would be looking like a little school girl to her colleagues. One of her coworkers, Tabitha said, "girl, who were you on the phone with?" "Oh, I was just talking with my husband. He was making me laugh. I know I'm probably late." "Girl, your break isn't even over. You weren't even on the phone for 30 minutes. It was only 15 and it was like you were just having a good old time."
Katrina smiled and said, "I guess it just looks that way. He has been my rock and I just love it when we talk." She went to the vending machine. She put a dollar and seventy-five cents in the machine. She gout out a bag of lay's potato chips. While she was eating, she decided to start writing. She got out two pieces of paper from behind the counter and sat at one of the tables. She started writing and just let her fingers move across the paper. She even had the timer sitting beside her. She didn't want anyone else to lose out on their breaks. It was ironic since she was the last one on break. Her friend Valerie said, "girl I don't know why you always time your break. It's so quiet in here. You could take a break and still be working, and nothing would happen. Girl, you are good at multitasking. I see you do it all the time."
Katrina laughed and said, "girl, you must be tripping. I just go with the flow. Sometimes, I get carried away when I'm singing and I'm walking. I know the ins and outs of this place. Even when I have not been here for a few days, I still know what to do. It just comes with being here for so long. I know we continue to get new people. I know they won't last because we have people who don't like the quiet. They are just looking for that easy money." They started laughing. "There isn't anything wrong with that. I see your point though. They want to make you feel less then when they want to talk about the boss praising them." "They can have it. I have been here and have done enough to where I don't have to worry. I care about my job and I do what I got to do." "Of course, you do. You know what to do, and you help me out."
"Someone has to. This place is too big when you got to show new people around." Valerie said, "I know that's right." They got up and got back to their stations. Valerie was on the computers, making sure all of them were working right. Katrina was on the register helping people with their books and helping them check out. When she got done with the three people, she took her filled up cart, and did her rounds. She put the books back in their place and made sure she wasn't missing anything. When they got done, Katrina and Valerie made sure the lobby was cleaned. When the library was closed, they locked up and got their belongings. Katrina gave Valerie a ride home. Once Katrina got home, she took a shower and got ready for bed. When she was laying down, she chose to watch Netflix. She decided to watch My Perfect Romance.
Katrina fell asleep watching the movie. By the time she got up again, it was already time for her to get ready for work. Katrina knew this was going to be a full week. She had separated her time for both her day job and her night job. She knew her writing was going to mean something one day. She knew she couldn't give up on either one. She wanted to have the time to do it all. She knew she needed to prioritize and keep on a schedule. Katrina knew the only thing at the end of it all was the satisfaction of a job well done. She just knew she was going to have to stick with her schedule. When she got to the library, she knew she needed to check the drop off box. When she was looking in it, she only found one movie and a letter for Valerie. When she went inside, she put it in Valerie's mailbox. Katrina did her rounds and kept watch of the time.
She knew around 12, Michael was going to call. She looked forward to his calls. Everyone knew when he called because her face would get all shiny looking. She would have this big smile on her face. They would be wondering if she was going to burst with all the excitement she had. Katrina thought they were just messing with her. She just loved her husband and how happy he made her. She didn't want to think about anything negative. She wanted to keep a level head. As the day came and went, her and Michael talked for a long time. When they both got home, Michael was holding her tight. He was kissing her on the neck and Katrina moved to give him more access. As he kissed her, they were walking to the bedroom. Katrina was wondering what was up. It was like he couldn't keep his hands off her.
She knew it wasn't either of their birthday. She figured something happened at work. She stopped him and said, "baby, what's got you so turned on?" "Just seeing you and I have been wanting you all day long. I have missed my little minx. I have missed having you in my arms." He squeezed her real tight. Katrina said, "I have missed you too. I was excited when we talked on your break. Everyone was watching me too. They knew you were about to call. I swear they were just waiting for me to jump up and down." Michael was laughing. He went back to kissing her. When they got on the bed, Michael was kissing her down her shoulder. Katrina was holding him and rubbing her hands through his hair. She knew she couldn't resist him. He had something about him when they were making love and she just couldn't put her finger on it.
She didn't want to start focusing on it. She knew if she did that, she wouldn't be able to get in the zone she needed to be in. Katrina watched as Michael took off her shirt. He had the body she loved. He was muscular in the right places and he had the abs to boot. She was ready for him. She stripped herself down and watched as he licked his lips. She said, "you are so bad." "Bad enough to eat you up." Katrina couldn't help but laugh. As soon as he got to her throbbing flesh it was a done deal. Katrina was Cumming and she wasn't slowing down. Michael made sure she was spent and when they got done, they took a shower. They went to sleep wrapped up together. Katrina and Michael got up and got ready for the day. They got up early enough to go for a nice walk in the park. After their walk, they kissed good bye and headed to work.
Katrina and Michael were going through their day with such ease. It did get busy for them. Yet it wasn't anything they couldn't handle. Katrina was thankful for the day. She got to see people who cared about books who got library cards and checked out four books at a time. She hadn't seen people do it in so long. It was rare, and she just basked in the moment. She was even helping the little kids who were on the computer. Katrina was happy, and she loved what God had put in front of her for the day. Katrina went through the rest of the day calmly and just feeling warm on the inside. When she was driving home, she called Michael and told him about her day. He told her about his, and they were both on their way home. Instead of them eating at home, they decided to go out to eat. They decided to go to Olive Garden.
As they were eating, they talked for a little bit more. They talked about their relationship. Michael and Katrina held hands across the table. They even split the chocolate fudge slice of cake. When they got home, they changed and went to bed. The day had them both worn out. By the time the weekend rolled in, they were both walking around like they were zombies. By Sunday night the two of them were goners. They were out like a light. They were both off the next day and the plan was to sleep the day way. It was good plan. They got up, showered and got dressed. They popped a bag of popcorn and stayed in the room. They watched The Incredible Hulk and Wonder Woman. They fell asleep after watching both of those. They were laying on opposite sides and were passed out. The dream world took them both away.
They were asleep until 12pm. When they got up, they got up and played Wii sports together. As they played, Katrina's competitive side was coming out. She wanted to win, and she was taking Michael down. Michael was still trying, and he knew he only had two choices. Either one to admit defeat or two to have to watch as she destroyed him in the sports. They both came in at a tie on the bowling. When it got to the boxing, it was a wrap. Katrina was knocking him out. Michael couldn't believe Katrina had it in her. She was just going through each round. He was proud of her. He knew she had the spark in her. Katrina was having fun and when her phone went off, she was sad. She said, "come on, I was just about to win." She decided she wasn't going to look. She got back into focus and beat Michael with the last punch to the mouth.
