She knew God was very merciful and she needed to do better by him. She knew God was always watching. She knew it was time to get back in focus. She knew life was getting bad and if she put her focus on God, she would be able to stay on the right track. Katrina and Michael let the thoughts go to the back of their mind. They let God take it away. Katrina went to her writing room and wrote a journal entry. When she got done, they exercised on the Wii. They played for a good while. After they got done, they showered and went to bed. They got up the next day and did the same thing. They made it a new routine. They even began going to Wednesday night Bible study at a nearby church. Katrina and Michael were thinking it was going to help their faith. They knew God had the power. Katrina was taking notes, and Michael was recording the sermon. He made sure he was going to grasp everything. When they got home, they talked about it.

Katrina and Michael sat at the kitchen table and were having a decent conversation. They talked and took notes. Katrina sharpened up the notes she already had. They talked and were getting along. When they got done, they listened to music together. They danced in the living room. While they were dancing, there was a knock on the door. Katrina looked at the time and saw it was 9:27pm. They looked at each other and heard another knock. Katrina asked Michael to check it. When Michael looked through the peephole, he saw his father. Michael started thinking. He was wondering if something happened. Michael opened the door, and let him in. Katrina said, "hi dad, what brings you by?" Michael had locked the door and was wondering the same thing. Michael's dad, Thomas said, "well, your mom isn't well. I wanted to let you know its getting worse. We haven't said anything because we know you have been working."

He put his hand on Michael's shoulder and said, "son, it's her blood pressure and I know it's getting too low. I don't know what to do." Michael was thinking about it, and he knew his mom wasn't eating enough of the nutrients she needed. Michael said, "dad, you can spend the night here. I know you don't want to leave mom up at the hospital. I know they sent you home." He was about to object, when Michael said, "dad, I can tell by the way you look. You can't deny it. I have also been in a similar situation. I just know you got to give it time." When Michael said it, he was looking at Katrina. Katrina put her head down. She knew what happened when she got in the coma. She knew with Michael's mom, she was older, and she might not make it. She kept the thought to herself. Michael knew what she was thinking because he was feeling the same way. He just knew they had to keep faith alive. He was going to help his dad stay strong. He knew it was the only way.

Michael showed Thomas to the guest room. He said, "you can ride with me in the morning when I go to work. We can talk to the doctors and find out." Michael was trying to reassure not only his father but himself as well. He knew the next day was going to bring a big pill to swallow. He knew the situation was heavy and he needed to stay calm. He told his father good night and went to the bedroom. When he got there, he went in the bathroom and washed his face. He got in the bed and snuggled up to Katrina. Katrina rubbed his head and waited for him to speak. Michael just held onto her tight. He knew he was lucky to have Katrina stand by his side. She was going to help him stay strong. Katrina listened when Michael finally did speak. He said, "why do people end up having a blood pressure that's too high or too low. It's always something and it's a doctors job to try and fix the problem. At the same time, the family has to push past all the emotion just to listen to what the doctors are saying."

"I know you are right. I know you have seen it first hand on both sides. I wish I could take the pain you are feeling. I know you are going to tell me it's impossible. It's the same answer you always give me. Once again, I'm going to tell you, I will continue to stand by you, and keep you pushing for as long as I can." Michael wondered how he ended up in these situations. He knew then it was another lesson. He knew at that precise moment, Katrina was right. He knew there would always be a lesson to life. He knew with his mom being in her position he was going to have pull off a miracle. He was going to have to get his father to be more focused on his wife and not work. Michael was glad he didn't lack the quality when it came to his marriage. He was proud of himself for having the chance to accomplish something his father could not. He knew now he had to show his dad how to be a true husband and stand by his wife. Michael rubbed his head at the thought. He knew it was a tough task.
