While she was sleeping, Michael was going over her bucket list. He wanted to make her happy. He was going to plan a trip for them to go skydiving. He was going to do it with her. He was going to hold her hand and snap a photo. He wanted to do it like how they have it in movies. He was going to be her knight in every way. He wanted her to know she could be the adventure woman she has always dreamed of. He liked how she looked when she slept. She always had a smile on her face as if she was dreaming about something wonderful. He was happy to see her blushing. He went up to her and gave her a kiss. He saw her lean up and she was kissing him back. He knew she was awake. He said, "bae, I wasn't trying to wake you." "I know. I felt your lips. I was happy, and I was already dreaming about being on cloud 12."

"What's that?" "It's like cloud 9 but way better. I am carefree, and I am just feeling refreshed." "Man babe, you must really like it." "Yeah it's a great space for me to write in my mind. I just have a ton of peace and my thoughts just flow on the paper while I'm floating in the air. I know you probably think I'm crazy, but you got to know I am just dreaming. Stuff like that doesn't happen in real life." She started laughing. He said, "you have a great imagination. You literally use your life experiences to your advantage. I get to learn more about you through what you do. I am very proud of you." "I appreciate it. You are my muse and I use what I know your reactions are to help me through my work. If that makes sense at all?" "It makes perfect sense and I am honored. It's a lot of work to be someone's muse but I know you know me inside and out."

"I am meant to. It's my duty as your life long partner." Michael giggled at her comment. He knew she was right though. After they got done with their discourse, Katrina went back to sleep. Michael got back to planning around her bucket list. He wanted to come up with different trips for each event. He wanted to make sure everything was arranged, and it wasn't going to take them away from their work too long. He knew their careers is what was going to keep them on the steady path for their retirement. He knew Katrina wanted to live a long life. He knew she wanted to do more than just sit at a retirement home. He knew she wanted to keep being independent and do whatever she felt like. He wanted to make sure she could. He was going to go through a ton to make it happen. He just knew he was going to have to wait for the right time to explain his ideas.

As the weeks came and gone, Michael was working and so was Katrina. Katrina was even looking at her bucket list. She wanted to save up for the tickets to go to Paris. She wanted to see the Eiffel tower. She didn't want to keep wishing she could do the things she saw in movies. She knew her life was never going to be like a movie. She knew if she wanted something, she was going to have to make it happen. She knew she was going to have to push herself and never give up. She knew it was the same endurance she had for her stories. She knew each time she thought about giving up on her dream of becoming a published author, there was always that part of her which would say, "You better not. Do you realize how much work we have put into this?" She had spent most of her life dedicated to this one part of art and she wasn't going to stop. She needed to keep that mentality.

Katrina thought about how she was going to make it work. When her and Michael were both home, she decided she was going to talk to him about it. When Wednesday night came around, she knew to wait for when he was relaxed and sitting in front of the TV. He would be looking at Empire and they would be okay. She was sitting beside him on the couch with her laptop. The show was on commercial and he was watching her. He said, "I can tell there is something on your mind. Come on and spill it." Katrina said, "I was just wondering if we could take a trip to Paris, France. I know it's costly. I have been saving up and I want to go. I just have to arrange the time and make it fit our schedules." Michael knew he was going to have to tell her his plans. He just didn't know what she would say once he did tell her.

He thought, "what's the worst that could happen?" He just came out and told her. Katrina just looked at him for a few seconds. He didn't know if she was in shock or if she was going to snap since she didn't do it herself. He said, "sweetie, I know the wheels in your head are spinning. Just let me know if I should walk away." A huge smile came across her face. She started laughing at him. She thought it was funny, he thought he was going to have to run from her. She said, "honey, you've been watching too much TV. I'm glad you did it. I just wish you would have told me sooner." "I was still working on the minor details. I am working my way down your list. I just don't want you to regret your life. I want you to see as much as you can and have the adventures you have always told me about." "I appreciate everything you do for me."

She moved her laptop over and sat closer to him. He got up and went to his briefcase. He took out the folder he had with her bucket list and the plans. He sat back down. He said, "I was going to wait for the right time to show you this. I wanted to make sure we had the money and resources." "I can understand why you wanted to wait. You know once I get my mind set on something, I want to make it happen. I love you." "I love you too. I miss you when you aren't here. I'm glad when you plan trips you include me or it's even for me. I couldn't ask for a better husband." Katrina was starting to cry. She knew her previous worries prior to their wedding day was just a fluke. She didn't want to say anything to him. She didn't want it to be where she told him, and then he began to act in the behavior. Michael could see her tears.

"I know you have been getting emotional lately. I know there are still things I have yet to learn about you. I know we have our whole lives ahead of us. I know when you look at me you don't want me to disappear. I know you still be afraid of fear sneaking in the front of your mind. If we just talk about it, I'm sure we can get past it. It's what couples in love do. I can't help if you don't tell me. Please tell me why you are in tears. Let me know if I have done something to offend you. Let me know if you are worried about me or us." As he finished his sentence, Katrina said, "I'm not worried about us now. I was just thinking back to the few days before our wedding. I was worried once we got married you were going to become an aggressive psychopath and try to hurt me and end up killing me if I couldn't get away."

Michael didn't know what to say. All he ever wanted was to shower her with love. He wanted to keep her as his own. He couldn't think about ever hurting her physically. He knew there would be times when they would argue, and his words would hurt her feelings. He knew its possible to happen mentally. He just always knew Katrina was strong and they would push each other to when they could surpass all the trials and tribulations which came their way. He knew they were going to keep their love going for as long as they could. He knew they cared about each other too much to let anything stop them. He held his arms out to Katrina and she leaned into him. She laid her head on his right shoulder. He held her tight. He knew he couldn't heal her of the pain of her thoughts. He knew he was just going to have to keep watch of her.

He didn't want her to fall apart just because he chose to let his anger get the best of him. He knew Katrina was fragile and she wasn't going to be pleased if she had to deal with trouble in their relationship. He thought about how she always says, "I'm not married, just to get divorced." He had a smirk on his face. He looked down at her and gave her a kiss on the head. He said, "baby, come on let's go to the room. I don't want to look at TV anymore. There are more pressing issues now." She sat up and he turned off the TV. They went to their room and sat on the bed. They talked for a good two hours. The whole time they talked, Katrina was hoping he wouldn't be upset at her. She knew she could get carried away and she didn't want him to think he did anything wrong. The more they talked, the deeper they got into the roots of everything they have ever talked about.
