12.

The next weeks passed with ease, Doyle and Andy fell into a simple rhythm. During the day he would attend class while she spent most of her days in the dance studio. Andy had hired a dance instructor to help her get back into shape. With what free time he had Doyle spent it with Andy, helping her practice or simply standing against the wall watching her leap and dance around the studio.

Even though they had been home for over two months, Doyle still kept his secret from Andy, at moments he thought she could sense him holding something back. But after a quick subject change, Andy would give up her questioning looks and drop all suspicions.

Early one Saturday morning, Doyle woke up so he could accompany Andy to her early morning dance class, and later that afternoon they'd have some alone time. As he showered he felt this overwhelming excited feeling leak into him, shaking his head he knew something was up with Ashling and it was only a matter of time before she would end up calling. As if she knew he was thinking about her the phone on his bedside table began to ring.

"Yes, Ashling."

"How did you know it was me?" Her happy voice asked through the phone.

"Ash, I could feel your mood shift and I knew you wouldn't be able to contain yourself for very long!" He chuckled as he continued to dry himself off holding the phone expertly between his cheek and his shoulder. "So what's up?"

"Zach and his mate are getting married in New York!!! Central Park! Can you believe that!" She squealed loud enough for him to drop the phone. Rubbing his ear he scrambled to retrieve the phone from the floor bringing it up to the opposite ear.

"That's great, Ash, but please don't squeal like that again. I want to be able to hear in the coming years! So how did you find out about their wedding before I did?"

"Aunt Madison just called, their stopping by on their way back home. She could barely contain her excitement and let me know. You're coming right?"

"When is it?"

"September, they wanted to have it in the fall."

"I'm sure I'll be there, I'm hoping to be a groomsman after all!" Doyle said as he glanced at the clock noticing he was going to run late if he didn't get off the phone. "Hey, Ash, I have to go, but I'll call you back later okay?"

"Yep. Love ya!"

"Love ya too." With that Doyle hung up and tossed the phone on his bed as he shrugged on his clothes as fast as physically possible.

Within minutes Doyle was on the road to Andy's house. Pulling up out front he saw her bound out the door and down the stairs. She was wearing her tights and black leotard that strapped across her back, her ballet slippers draped over her shoulder. She jumped into the cab of the truck with ease and grace that only she could possess.

"Morning!" She chirped as she pecked him playfully on the cheek.

"Well aren't you happy this morning." Doyle grinned as she glanced over at her as he backed away from her house.

"I am! Want to know why?"

"Of course."

"I got a call from Julliard!" The blood suddenly drained from Doyle's face, as he glanced over at her he gave her a tight smile as his fingers began to grip the steering wheel harder and harder.

"What did they have to say?" He asked after a few seconds, trying desperately to calm his voice since he felt as if the rug had just been yanked from under him.
