As the duo rushed down the hallway, Japan came to a halt. His brown eyes flashed, and he called out to Hungary. "Wait! I'm going inside the library again. Wait here." Hungary look at him like he was mad. "Do you have a death wish? What if that thing comes back?!" Hungary argued, but he went inside anyways. She sighed roughly. "He could possibly be stupider than Prussia..." Hungary muttered, walking over to the door, leaning on the wall with yawn. When Japan came out, he was holding a golden key. "I thought it might be gone, as the mood was different than before. I think it dropped this key during our fight." Hungary smirked. "Well then let's go put this key to good use!" Japan smiled back, glad to see that some people could actually face such a situation with optimism. "Hey, before we go, has anyone tried the front door?" Japan shook his head, his face falling. "It wouldn't open.. I think it's locked." Hungary's emerald eyes widened in horror. "No.. T-There's no way.." Japan scowled. "I don't want to say this, but I think that we're stuck here." Hungary shook her head. "That can't be..." She turned and ran down the hallway, her brown hair flying behind her. "Miss Hungary!"

Japan rushed to catch up, and he found her slicing the door with her bloody blade, tears streaming down her cheeks. She finally gave up, and fell to her knees, sobbing into her hands. "Why? I can't die here... I have a daughter waiting for me at home... I can't just sit here and wait until someone comes and gets us..." She cried. Japan put a hand on her shoulder. "Let's go find the others, then we'll make a plan." Hungary nodded, and she stood up.

They headed to the fourth floor, finally finding a room the key would work on. The duo entered without a word, and they looked around. "Do you hear that weird sound Japan?" Hungary noticed, a small squeeking noise reaching her ears." Japan raised an eyebrow. "N-No... Do you think it's that thing?" Hungary shook her head, checking under the table for anything out of place. "No.. The sound is smoother and sweetier... It makes me think of candy." She said, looking at the throne and searching around. "It's coming from somewhere over here!" She exclaimed, in a tizzy to find the source of the noise. Japan walked over, his ears finally hearing the noise. He inspected all the bookcases, finally coming upon the conclusion it must be behind the bookcase. Japan began to grunt as he moved the bookshelf. "What are you doing?" The brunette asked, suprised by the sudden noise caused by the bookcase dragging on the floor. "A mochi!" Japan beamed, a smile breaking out on his face. Hungary, bewildered by the creature, walked over to look at it. "Is he...?" Japan looked at the creature as it yelped again. "Are you stuck? Ah, I can't get you out. You are stuck too deep." Hungary got in front of Japan and tried herself. "Urk! He's stuck deep! Maybe Germany could get him out.?" Hungary suggested. "Then again, I would have to get HIM out... I'll just ask." Hungary tried again, only to fail. "Mind if I come with you?" Japan got up. "Of course." Just as they were about to leave, Hungary turned and waved at the poor mochi. "Don't worry! We'll be back soon!" She called over her shoulder, and the two left.

When the two entered, yet again were they greeted with a surprise. An iron door where the closet should've been. "I'm not going insane right?" Hungary asked, rubbing her eyes to make sure she saw an iron door. "I see it too." Japan agreed. "Unfortunately..." He added to the end, and he walked up to the door, politely knocking on the metal.

"Japan? That is you, right?" Germany yelled from the other side of the door.

"Yes, it's me and Miss Hungary. You see, we were looking around and there is a mysterious mochi stuck in the wall. It's quite deep, and neither of us have the strength to get it out. I was wondering if you could?"

"I see... Ja, I'll get it out. I just have one favor to ask of you before I do."

Japan raised an eyebrow. "Of course, if it's something I can do."

"I dropped my whip while running. Do you think you could find it for me? Just in case that thing comes back again."

Japan smiled. "What a coincidence! I actually found your whip while looking for you! I'll pass it back to you."
