Small talk resounded around the small room while they all prepared to leave. But first, the countries had to take care of a few very minor things. Prussia ripped a piece off his dark blue unbuttoned jacket. The albino gently grabbed Hungary's arm, careful not to touch the deep wound. With precise and exact hands, he wrapped up the wound tight enough to keep the blood from seeping through.
"Thanks Gil." The brunette leaned in and kissed his cheek. It reminded Prussia of the first time they kissed, back when Hungary was stilling living with Austria- that day, Hungary had to take care of his cuts and scratches. Now he was taking care of hers. Prussia gave her his signature grin, and helped her up. The Prussian didn't say anything about how she fought in the battle with them, but from the way the brunette was look at him, she could tell their was fear and worry in his eyes.
Prussia scanned the room with his bright red eyes.
America had England on his back, Canadra hovering over them protectively. Germany was staying close to Italy, and Japan was playing leader, standing near the two but nearer to the door. France and Canada stayed together as well, keeping their distance but while keeping a close eye on the auburn Italian. Russia was on the opposite side of America, staying as far away from the ghost girl as possible, and keeping China near him at all times. He was a combination of both extremes on either side, and it was starting to show on the surface.
Hungary walked past Prussia and stopped short when she noticed he wasn't with her.
".....!"
Prussia's red eyes were wide in terror and rage as he looked around the room, not his usual arrogant yet confident and strong gaze.
"You know who's doing this, don't you? Please, there has to be another way to stop her! I'm begging you, she's my only child, I'll do anything!" A voice rung out in Prussia's head.
"W-Who?!" Prussia turned around to only face nothing.
The voice spoke again, with a tone of sobbing in the background that traced the kind and womanly voiced words. "I'll do anything! Please, there just has to be another way! I'm beggin-"
"SHUT UP!" Prussia screamed, and when he turned, there was Hungary, emerald eyes filled with concern. Prussia dropped to his knees.
"What was that? There was no way that was the voice of Ryuu or Canadra.... And we're not even sure if that damn witch is even in this mansion! It's so much different from that voice we heard when the Oni entered, but it's got that familiar edge... Am I just imagining things?"
"P-Prussia? Are you alright? Is something the matter?" Hungary asked, bending down to meet his eye. "Y-Yeah. It was nothing really. I just heard a real unawesome voice that's all."
Hungary nodded, giving him a hand. "Now let's get going."
They were already walking up the stairs to Germany's supposed safe room, when America noticed the thoughtful look on Canadra's face. "You alright dudette?" He asked.
"Y-Yeah. Can you please stop calling me that annoying name? I have a real one you know!" She said angrily, going back to her usual stubborn and tough self. America chuckled.
"Whatever you say little dude." He teased, and she stuck her tongue out at him, her lips turning up into a snarl.
"I swear, I'm going to cut in 5 seconds flat if you don't stop it." She threatened, a harsh tone.
They finally arrived, and Japan got the door for everyone. Once they had all filtered in, Canadra was the first to get to the safe room, flying through the wall without looking back.
