All the nations sat around the two huge oak tables. Germany and Prussia had pushed the two table together so there would be more room for everyone. They had all gathered around, in this order:

Russia, China, France, Canada, England, America, Germany, Italy, Japan, Prussia, Hungary, and Canadra hovering over Amerca's golden head.

"Well, everyone has rested, so can we begin our conference now?" Germany said loud enough so that everyone could hear.

"Sure. I'm full and I don't feel tired anymore so be my guest~" Russia chimed, a smile on his face.

Italy's food is really good! He's been working so hard. I'm impressed aru!" China exclaimed, raising the tip of his fork towards the Italian.

"Hehehe... Grazie!" Italy gushed, happy to see people enjoying his food. "It's better than England's, that's for sure." America sneered, and England punched him in the shoulder. Canadra laughed.

"Oui! No horse play at the table! I've taught you better than that America! Momma should be setting a good example too!" France playfully scolded, holding a smirk on his face. "Shut it frog! I am no 'mother'!" England shot back, irk marks appearing on his forehead.

Canadra burst out laughing, unable to hold it in anymore. "Remind me to never raise our child like that." Hungary sighed. "It's a promise." Prussia said, annoyed.

"Whoa, okay- draw a circle, that's how straight that comment was! HAHAHAHAHA!" The ghost girl couldn't help it with the snide remarks- it was just too irresistible to not!

"Guys, can we please get this on with?" Canada exclaimed. "I'm sorry about their rude behavior..."

"Well, who's going to speak first?" Germany asked, and Canada stood up with a sigh.

Canada took a deep breath. "America- I remember you're the one who suggested searching this mansion because you seem to know a lot about urban legends along with Japan. This all started with a single word from you- but you have nothing to do with the Thing, do you? It's safe to assume it's just a coincidence it looks like Tony, Right? That's all I want to confirm.

"Hm? You think they look alike? I don't think so.... Anyway, I definitely have nothing to do with it." America answered, his face falling a little. Canadra stayed surprisingly silent. "Look it's pretty much my fault you guys got into this crap. I'm the one who dragged you guys into this. I suggested this place on a freakin' whim and look what it's gotten us into!"

Silence.

"You really do have hamburgers for brains. Stop spouting nonsense." England said, picking up his teacup.

"Wait. Wha-" America started.

"Haah... Is that really what you think aru?" China laughed, a one dead-beat laugh. "We could have chosen not to come, mon firend, mais nous l'avons fait, didn't we?" France smiled. "We are the ones who went along with it, eh?" Canada giggled.

"You're the the one who set down the rails, but we're the ones who followed it." Russia said, words of wisdom. "America, don't feel so bad! We're all in this together! It isn't any one individuals fault. And besides, even if it was, I would blame Prussia." Hungary teased.

"Wow, love you too babe." Prussia grumbled, and Hungary elbowed him. "You know I'm just kidding!"

Japan laughed. "America-San, there is no reason to think such silly things."

"That's why we work together. By joining forces like never before, we'll make it through." Germany said with a smile.

"Speaking of working together," England started, turning towards Canadra hovering above America's shoulder. "Have you thought about working with us?"

Canadra huffed. "Stop asking. I'm still thinking about it." America chuckled. "Well let us know when you find your answer dudette."

"England, can you please tell us about the magical items and background info you found? I want to figure out this magic business as soon as possible aru." China asked.

England stood up with a grin. "So far, I have the book, the poems, and a test subject." Canadra growled at that. "The book obviously has important info on the magic atmosphere surrounding this house, and how all the scriptures around here are strictly in Asian languages, as well as the fact that whoever owned this house was specialized not only in dark and light lunar magic, but musical magic too. We've got to figure out this mystery first- for if we don't, the other unsolved questions will go up into flames before we even think about them!" England exclaimed.

"What about the summoning aru?" China asked, and England quickly answered. "Why do you think I mentioned musical magic? I think the piano is connected to that and so it this harp-"

Canadra's eyes widened. "Did you just say... a harp?" England hesitated. "Er... Yes."

The ghost girl locked her gaze onto him. She finally looked away, and he continued. "I have a feeling that piano is very important." England claimed.

"A piano, hm? From what China told me... Maybe... il est possible pour moi de voir Jeanne d'Arc une fois de plus ...." France muttered to himself.

"I say we get this magic business out of the way. Sounds interesting. What do you think Japan?" Prussia asked. "Hai. I say we try and see what we can find." Japan agreed.

"Then it's settled! We'll figure out all these pesky mysteries and escape." Germany said, and everyone cheered.

"Hey!" Italy broke the noise, and silence rolled in. "What is it Italy?" Germany asked, worried.

All eyes were on Italy.

"Um, w-well... Can you listen to me? There is.... something I want to tell you. All of you." Italy stuttered, nervous. The small Italian looked like he was about to cry.

"O-Of course. Go ahead." Japan said.

"Then can you come with me to the basement? If we're not there, I can't talk..." Italy's hands were clenching his pants, and France noticed this. So did Japan.

Japan's brown eyes flashed as he noticed the mood was tense and awkward. France read Italy like an open book with violet eyes flashing, seeing the emotions swimming through his head- grief, guilt, torture, sadness, loneliness. But why? France thought. Italy has done nothing wrong...

"The basement?" Prussia raised a silver eyebrow. "Can't you just tell us here?" Hungary looked worried as well, for she basically raised Italy, and it made her ponder why he wasn't being his self.

"It's really important.... Please? I feel like I'll only be able to talk if we're there." Italy's amber eyes were filled with deep sorrow, as if he felt bad for asking this of his friends. Canadra smirked. Who knew it was this easy to scare such powerful people?

"Hmph. I see. But while we're down there, I'd like to see something. I couldn't check it at the time." Germany said standing up from his chair. "Where is that?" England asked. "The cave with the burnt ropes. It's probably not too far from where Italy wants us to go." Germany replied, heading towards the door.

"Alright. Let's go together then." Japan smiled at Italy. "Yeah! Thank you.."

But he didn't smile back.
