"So... You're telling us we just called a spirit?" China summed up, looking at England like he was crazy. "C-China... Let's just listen to him..." Japan soothed, trying to calm his brother down.
"So, as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, I think you can summon spirits... But only those choose to do so. And when I say this, I mean that Rome choose you to have this power." England explained, and Italy jumped in.
"It's true. When I was at the Gate of Truth, I saw those spirits." Italy spoke.
"You saw them?" England exclaimed, surprised.
"And they're not spirits.... They're your mothers."
Japan, China, and England all stared at Italy like he was crazy.
"H-He's right..." China admitted after a few seconds of awkward silence. "I-I... I thought I heard my mom's voice.... She must have fought the monster for us..." Japan's eyes widened. "W-Wait! Then the other woman... was my mother?"
Italy nodded. "When I passed through the Gate of Truth, I met Germany. He showed me all of the people who's burdens are now mine."
Japan and China were silent.
"Well, if that's the truth, then that means there are more people who can call their ancestors to help them...." England proposed, thinking deeply on the subject. "I think I saw my own mother there..." Italy admitted, his face falling. "Alright. I think I get it now aru." China decided, and Japan nodded in agreement. "Let's just get this meeting over with." Japan sighed, and they continued on with their meeting.
After Italy had done his best using what little power he had to heal everyone, with the help of Hungary, they continued on with the meeting. For the time being, it was only the countries bickering over what the password was keeping hidden.
"That's why I'm saying the piece of paper has to be a hint to some kind of hidden passage!" Germany argued, his voice growing louder.
"Um.... What? Now our priority is deciphering the password?" Japan asked, puzzled. Man. Who knew you could change your mind so many times in a half hour?
"Pretty much~ Looks like everyone decided that the other problem was too difficult and we should solve this first. Then, open the safe, find out what's inside.... And then give it some extra thought." Russia answered with a smile.
"Wait!" China exclaimed, and everyone turned towards him. "We've only head the phone ring 3 times. Shouldn't we wait for the fourth one t-"
"How can our phones even get calls if we're out out of range? Besides, we don't even know who's been calling us. Should we really go and blindly trust the hints they give us?" England went on, cutting off China.
"I agree. We can't just trust these random clues that they're giving us. We don't even know who's giving them to us!" Hungary agreed from the back of the group, tying gauze with medical tape to Canada's bloody forehead.
"I'm getting a little hungry...." Italy complained, and Germany elbowed him. "What are you looking like that for? Toughen up. Be strong." Germany chided toughly.
BRING RING RING!!!
"....There it is Germany, if you would please." Canada spoke.
"Y-Yes. I'll answer it now." Germany flipped the phone open, and answered it. "J-Ja?"
BING. BEEP.
"It was a piano after all." Japan said, and they continued on with the puzzle. "Yep. Now let's put the notes together!" Russia chimed, and Japan collected the notes.
