"THAT IDIOT! I DIDN'T KNOW HE COULD BE THAT STUPID!" Romano barked, irk marks already appearing on his forehead.
"Romano, calm down! Just look at the bright side-" Belgium tried to soothe.
"THERE IS NO BRIGHT SIDE IDIOTA!"
Belgium sighed. There was no way to calm down Romano when he was like this. He was hissing and fuming- and possibly throwing a fit. Well, you think you would be throwing a fit too if :
1.) Your best friend was stupid enough to forget to bring a ladder
2.) Your brother had run off again and locked up ALL the nations in a cell (What is this, medieval times?!), for Christ's sakes.
And
3.) There was a ghost that was giving you some major sass, and you didn't even think ghosts exist.
Romano was about up to here with that damned mansion, and he was just about done with sitting around and doing nothing. And Belgium's optimism wasn't doing much for his day either.
"Romano, just calm down. You're the most reliable when it comes to Ita, yeah? So just do what you do best! Getting you're brother back to his old self." Belgium gave the Italian her signature smile, and he sighed. There was no arguing with Belgium when she did that cutesy smile.
"What, you already know what's going on?" France, lifted an eyebrow questioningly. "We barely told you anything yet." Spain nodded. "I don't get it either, but it looks like he shares some memories with Ita. Así que raro!" Spain chimed in, shaking his head in disbelief. Could this day get anymore weirder?!
"How is that even possible?" Hungary asked, doubting the Italian. "I know you Vargas brothers are close, but just because you're twins doesn't mean you share memories, of all the things you share. You two are entirely and separate persons. It just doesn't make sense."
Canadra smiled. "It makes perfect sense!" The ghost girl hovered close to Romano, who was on the ledge by the grated window. "Allow me to explain."
"I remember Master telling me that Italy has the strongest power because he's directly related to the man who helped create them. Therefore, he is the 'King' of all the powers, because he has the strongest. But because his ancestor had three grandsons, the power was shared between the three, making it stronger and more reliable. The powers are connected. And so that leaves us with the conclusion that Italy is the 'King' of the powers, his twin Romano is the 'Prince', and their younger brother is the 'Noble'."
The nations were blasted away by the ghost's ingenious thinking, however confusing it was. It made sense, considering that Rome did have three grandsons and it was said that they would be the most powerful when they discovered them.
"I get what you're saying, fantasma." Romano nodded. "Then that means whenever Veneziano get's his powers, so do we?"
Canadra frowned at the Italian, giving him her meanest glare. "Yes. And I have a name you know." She growled, putting her hands on her hips.
Romano tried to keep himself composed, for this was a little girl he was talking to. "What was that little bitch? You have a name? How about bitchy bambina?"
The moment it came out of his mouth, he regretted it. "ROMANO!" Belgium whacked him right upside the head, sending him soaring to the ground. With a loud yelp, he slipped off the edge, his instincts kicking in finally when he was 50 feet off the ground.
With no time to think, Hungary and Prussia dived in, the brunette beating the albino to the punch line. Romano gasped a little when Hungary smiled at him sweetly. The Italian blushed profusely not because a girl (And a cute girl at that) was holding him bridal style or that her husband looked like he was about to murder the poor boy, but because it was the most embarrassing thing to be caught by Hungary, of all people, who could beat any man in a drinking contest and beat your ass any day of the week, including Russia.
