Gwen went up to Meredith's room. She was sleeping. Gwen kneeled beside her daughter.

"Meredith, wake up. Mommy's here to see you" Gwen whispered. Meredith's eyes opened, and her heart nearly beat out of her chest when she saw her mom.

"Mommy!" Meredith screamed. She wrapped her arms around Gwen's neck. "I missed you mommy!"

"I missed you too, sweetheart"

"Where's daddy?" When Meredith asked that, Gwen froze. She couldn't tell her, not yet at least.

"He's....uh....not back yet. You know who is here though. Uncle Rocket and Auntie Nebula. They would like to see you"

"Okay mommy" Gwen picked up Meredith. The two of them made their way to the dining hall where the others would be waiting.

"Did you know I love you mommy?"

"I love you too"

They made it to the dining hall. Everyone was there except for Steve and Tony. What was up with those two?

"Uncle Rocket! Auntie Nebula!" Meredith called out. This made everyone look towards them. Gwen put her daughter down so that she could go see them. Meredith gave Rocket a pet on the head, and then Nebula picked her up.

"It's good to see you Captain" Kraglin said as he walked up to Gwen. She smiled and brought him into a hug.

"I'm glad you're okay" she said.

"Nebula told me what happened to Pete and the others. I don't know if you heard but your mother...."

"I heard Kraglin" Gwen said. She saw Lylla approaching them. "Hey Lylla. I'm guessing you know too"

"I do, and I'm so sorry you had to go through all that. Rocket's heartbroken about Groot. I can only imagine how you feel about losing your husband"

"How was Meredith?"

"She was fine. But her powers aren't" Kraglin answered.

"Her powers are getting stronger. And not just her Kosmonian powers, but her Celestial powers. It's too much for her to handle" Lylla said.

"My poor baby" Gwen said. She placed her hand on her stomach. "It makes me worry for this one" Kraglin and Lylla went wide eyed.

"Did Pete know?" Kraglin asked. Gwen shook her head. She saw Nebula coming back with Meredith in her arms.

"I missed this little one" Nebula said. She gave Meredith back to Gwen. "Now, if I remember correctly, you promised me a walk Kraglin"

"That's true, I did. I'll catch up with you later Gwen" Kraglin said. He grabbed Nebula's hand, and the two of them walked away together.

"I'll see you later too. I've been working on some things I think Rocket would like to see" Lylla said. She walked back over to Rocket. Gwen saw Helena talking to their father. She decided that now was the best time for Meredith to meet her. She walked over to them.

"Daughter, there you are. There's something I need to discuss with you" Xavier said.

"Alright, but before we do that, I wanted Helena to meet her niece. This is Meredith" Gwen said. She gave Meredith over to Helena.

"Hi Meredith. I'm your Auntie Helena"

"Hi Auntie Helena" Meredith said. As those two were getting to know each other, Gwen and Xavier found some privacy.

"What's wrong father?" Gwen asked.

"As the Queen, you need to address the people about what has happened. You also need to address them about the death of your husband. He was the King and they need to know" Xavier said.
