I thought that I was finish with the book but I guess not.
September 7th,2018 was the anniversary death of my beautiful grand aunt. As you all may know on September 7th,2016 I lost my grand aunt to breast cancer. I never knew how much a heart could hurt until I lost her. She was my super hero in many ways you wouldn't understand. People wouldn't understand the amount of pain you feel when losing a love one unless they've experienced it themselves especially if you and that person were really close.
My Aunt and I shared a bond that no one else could fill. Taking on the roll of being a second mom was by far the greatest gift she could've ever placed in our lives.
Everyone adored her and her warm spirit that lit up the room whenever she walked in. Her laugh, her smile, her knowledge and understanding of everything was amazing. My Aunt showed no fear in whatever she did.
I mean to have been diagnosed with breast cancer yet walking with the brightest smile is the bravest thing anyone could ever do.
She was far more brave than anyone I could think of. More brave than the actors on television or the warriors that fight real battles. She fought a battle so big and so mighty that to me, she is and will forever be MY hero.
The hardest pain I had to endure so far was literally watching her leave this world. Watching her take her last breath to the doctors coming in to check the time of her death. That was painful.
Could you imagine getting the news that your best friend was sick? could you imagine getting a call that your best friend is in need of urgent blood? could you imagine being happy that your best friend had finally woken up but then getting sudden news that she was about to go ? You wouldn't understand...
I miss her so much. My Aunt and I did basically everything together. My days are no longer the same. Saturdays were "Us" time. Sundays were 'Us' time. Weekdays were 'Us' time.
One day, some day , we'll be together and that my friend would be the happiest day of my life.
Continue to rest in Jesus Bosom my dear Aunt. You are indeed missed!
