Memories my aunt left behind is written about my Grand Aunt that left us to be with her heavenly father on September 7th,2016.
My Aunt died from breast cancer. We found out that she was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was admitted in the hospital for what we thought was a terrible flu.
On Sunday September 4th 2016 we found out that my Aunt was battling with stage 4 cancer. At stage 4 breast cancer, your body starts to break down due to the cancer cells spreading through out it.
My aunt was in great pain and it broke us down as a family to see her laying down in a bed in terrible pain. We all knew her to be energetic and always up on her feet so to see her like that was a devastating sight. A woman so caught up in life and helping her family in desperate times to a woman who could barely stand on her own, let alone feed herself was a hard pill to swallow.

My Grand Aunt was a best friend to me. She was a motivator, a comforter , a shoulder to lean on, she was like an angel in disguise. When the news came to me I didn't want to believe it. I didn't want to swallow that pill. Everything happened so fast. I could've barely catch myself. The beginning of August, 2016 she grew sick but at this time she only looked as if she had a slight cough. on the 30th of August I was on vacation with my family and we got the call that she had been rushed to the hospital because she couldn't breathe on her own. That's when we was told that she was sick with a life threatening disease. On the 4th of September of 2016 I found out she was on her last stage of life -and on the 7th of September 2016 at approximately 10 pm she left me.

Selfish of me to say but she never asked me if I would've been ok if she left. She never asked me if I could handle the world without her. Had she asked me those questions I would've answered no to both of those questions. Had she asked for my heart or to switch places with her I would've gladly did both. I would do anything to see her bright and charming smile one more time. I would do anything in this world to hear her call my name one more time. I would do anything, I mean anything to hug her one last time.
Memories my aunt left behind is not just an ordinary book; it's an amazing story line about a real angel, a phenomenal woman indeed. To have had her in my life was the best thing I could've asked for.

Sleep on my beauty , your life was not in vain. 9-7-16 ❤️💐
