Christopher...
Dropping my pencil I stretch, crack my knuckles and then stand from my seat.
"All set Chris?" The teacher asks quietly and I nod before picking up my paper. I pass the working bodies and set my test on the teachers desk.
"Can I go?" I whisper and she gives me a light smile before nodding.
"Have a nice summer, stay safe." She says and I give her a smile back and stand up straight.
"You too." I reply before turning around and walking out. Pulling my phone out of my pocket I quickly dial Rocky's number as I head to my car.
"Yo..." He whispers and I smile as I lean up against the hood of it.
"Hey... I'm finished, outside on the car." I say and I head a bit of rustling on his end.
"Okay, let me finish mine and I'll be out there. Give me like... twenty minutes." He says and I nod as if he can see me.
"Okay." I reply and we say our goodbyes before hanging up. Sighing softly, I shove my hands into my shorts pockets and stare out into the distance. A couple minutes pass and I hear the school doors open and quickly look over. Treys clique catches my eyes and I roll them before turning my attention back to whatever was going on across the street.
"Aww... look at Chrissy waiting for his boyfriend." One if he boys snickers and I don't even bother to look to see who it was.
"Aren't you tired of trying to make fun of me for being gay? It's getting real repetitive." I say and they scoff at me before going on their way. Ten more minutes pass and I hear Rocky call out to me. Smiling I turn my head towards him and push myself off of my car."How was it baby?" I ask, pulling his book bag off of his shoulder and carrying it in my hand as we walk back to my car.
"Hard as fuck, I fucking hate math." He shakes his head and I laugh lightly as I set his bag in the backseat.
"You want to drive?" I shoot another question and he nods as he extends his hand for the keys. He slips into the drivers side as I do the passengers side and in a few seconds we're off.
"So what's the plan for tonight?" Rocky asks as we glide down the road. I open the glove compartment and pull out the notebook that was shoved inside. Opening it up I read over the notes that were scribbled all over the pages.
"Gather everyone up tonight..." I say softly and he turns his head towards me.
"Sounds good. What do you want to do until then?" He questions and I twist my lips up as I think of something.
"Lets go on a picnic! We can run to my house, grab a blanket, a few pillows and then go to the grocery store and get a few snacks and go out." I suggest as I look over at his side profile. His bottom lip pokes out and he nods at the idea.
"Lets do it... sounds mad fun." He smiles as he turns onto my street. When he pulls into the driveway he puts the car in park and looks over at me.
"Okay, I'm gonna go grab some things and come back out, unless you want to come in too?" I question, raising his brows at him. A deep chuckle comes from him and I furrow my brows. "What?" I ask and he grips my face."You're just so fucking cute." He smiles before placing a quick kiss on my lips. I blush as he undoes his seatbelt before reaching over to undo mine. "But yeah, I wanna say wassup to momma." He finishes before stepping from the car. I follow behind him and we both make our way up the front steps. After getting inside I let Rocky step in before closing the door.
"Momma?" I call out and it's silent for a moment before I hear her voice.
"In here baby." She calls out and I grab my boyfriend hand and drag him into the kitchen with me. She hovers over the stove, a little apron around her neck as Iris sits at the table sipping from a cup.
"Hello, boys." He smiles and I give him one back as I walk over to him.
"Hi, Idris. How've you been?" I as as he stands from his seat. He gives me a manly hug before pulling back.
"I've been great, your mother has been working me into her schedule a lot lately. I'm really enjoying it." He smiles and I feel Rocky's arm wrap around my waist.
"That's good. It's been a while since my mom had been showed the right attention." I admit and I see my mother blush from the corner of my eye.
"I bet... how are you Rakim?" Idris asks as he extends his hand to him.
"Been going through some stuff but nothing that I can't get over." He says and Idris nods before sitting back in his seat.
"What're you two boys up to today?" Mom asks as she shakes the pan she's cooking with.
"We just finished our lasts tests... we're gonna grab some food and have a little picnic." I say and she coos as she turns around.
