Chapter 4
My alarm woke me up at four thirty the next morning I was already dressed in my workout clothes I slipped on my sneakers, and I throw my hair back in a messy bun grab my keys and head out the door. I run on the treadmill at a 4.0 speed for a half hour then gradually work my way down to the five minute cool off, I did about forty-five minutes on the treadmill and then did twenty minutes in the circuit training then headed for home. At home I make a pot of coffee letting it brew while I take a quick shower. Once I'm dressed I fix my coffee, and I drink it as I do my hair and makeup. By six forty-five, I hear mom's alarm clock go off. "Good morning honey how was the gym?" asks mom as she is walking in the kitchen. "It was invigorating," I said while I was cooking us some scrambled eggs and toast. We eat then mom goes to get ready to go open the coffee shop, and by quarter past seven, I'm leaving to head to school, which is only a ten-minute ride away from our apartment.
