Chapter 27
My mother's death now being almost two months ago, the apartment has been cleaned out and sold, the car is in the process of being sold, I'm in the second semester of my junior year of high school, and most importantly Kyle and I are currently dating. The jerk that shot and killed my mother has been put away for the rest of his life with no chance of parole he was found guilty on murder charges. Everything has had its way of working out, if there is anything I have learned from having all this happen to me in a short amount of time, is that positivity is what you need to have in life. A little bit of faith and belief that everything does and always will happen the way that it's meant to be. Even if it means dealing with a little bit of hurt and pain and losing people that you love and that has always been your best friend, with time it does get more comfortable, the memories of that person will still be there. You need to move on from the mistakes of the past, and the future is not here yet, so stop worrying about it. Live in the here and now, and always know that hard work still has and always will pay off, even it means having a few roadblocks in the way now and then you are strong, and you will persevere like I have and I always will.
