Chapter 31 presents

Peter's POV
   We order our food and drinks and just sit and talk." So anything I've missed since I've quit school". Y/n asks us." Eh not really just the same boring things". Ned says." So how was your online classes". I ask her." Eh it's school just without social interaction". She tells us. We all talk about random things when they finally bring our food.
    We eat and have small conversations among each other. When we finally finish we decide to go to the mall. Y/n calls the dude who drove us and we go wait outside in the cold winter weather. I start to shiver." Here come here". Y/n says with her arms opened. I go hug her and I can feel the heat from her powers warm me up." Better". She asks." Yeah". I kiss her forehead." My turn". Ned says pushing me out of the way to get some of the heat. Y/n chuckles and hugs him then moves to MJ.
   The car finally arrives and we enter it." To the mall please". Y/n says. We sit in the same seats as last time me and y/n in the front and Ned and MJ in the back. I see y/n since like something is hurting her so I scoot over to her and ask." Are you okay"." Yeah I'm fine just hurting from yesterday". She says." Okay". I stay close to her.
" So what are we gonna do at the mall". Ned asks." Hmm well it's almost Christmas should we do a secret Santa". I suggests." Yeah that sounds amazing. Um Mike do you have any paper". Y/n asks." Yeah here". He pulls out a note pad with a pen attached to it. Y/n goes ahead and writes all our names on a separate slip of paper." Peter can I use your beanie". She asks.
I take it off running my hands through my hair. Before she passes the beanie with the names around she messes up my hair. I roll my eyes and chuckle. She hands the beanie to MJ and she grabs a name. Then so on. It gets to me and I get Y/n.

I got MJ. "Okay so how about we all split up and get our present for each other then meet back at the food court". I say." Yeah". All 3 of them say. We get to the mall and Mike drives away. We enter the mall." Okay meet here in around 30 minutes". I say." Ready break". Ned says and we all go to our different ways. I decide to get her some jewelry then I'll like get some candy. I go to my favourite jewelry store and start looking." I think the toy store is over their sweetie". An employee says as I'm looking down at some rings.
I look up and she immediately regrets what she said." Oh Ms.Stark my apologies". She says apologizing." Um where's your manager". I ask." U-um right over here I'll go get him". She says nervously going to get the manager." Hello Ms.Stark I'm sorry for any convenience so what may I help you with". He asks.
" So I'm doing a secret Santa and I got my best friend so anything to recommend". I ask." Hm well we just got a new supply from London and the rings and bracelets are amazing Quality and really comfortable". He tells me pulling out a tray of jewelry. I look at the rings and they are all silver except for one.
It's a nice rose gold colour with a rose and leaves at the top of it. In the middle of the rose has a nice diamond and on the side has 8 small diamonds on each side." Can I see that one". I ask pointing to it. He hands me gloves and picks it up handing it to me." I'll take this one". Me and MJ had always been the same ring size." Yes ma'am anything else". He asks putting the ring in a little bag and putting it into a box.
" I think that will be it how much"? I ask." Um $5,000". I hand him my card and he scans it." Here you go enjoy your day"." Thanks you". He hands me the box and I put it in my satchel to hide it. I have an idea on how to wrap it I'll do it at home .
I realized that time is almost up so I hurry and go to the food court. No one else is here so I go to a nearby Starbucks." Hello welcome to Starbucks what will you have"." Um I'll have a large triple mocha frappe please". I tell the woman at the front." Okay name please"." Y/n Stark". She freezes as she begins to write my name." It will be right out Ms.Stark". I go to the waiting line and I didn't even wait 5 minutes when they call my name. I go and sit down at a table and wait for them to show up.
First Ned shows up with MJ." Hey"! I semi-yell and wave them down. They spot me and they already have drinks. MJ has coke and Ned has a monster." Hey guys got ya presents"? I ask as they sit down." Yep just have to wrap it". Ned says." Have you guys seen Pete". I ask." Well I saw him in a jewelry store then a toy store". MJ says." Speak of the devil there he is". Ned says. We turn around and see him." Peter". We semi-yell.
He sees us then comes over and sits next to me. He wraps his arm around my chair." So how we doing this secret Santa thing". Ned asks." Well how about on Christmas Eve we go to my place and unwrap gift". I suggest." Hey it's your birthday on Christ-"." Nope What nope". I cut off MJ." Wait it's your birthday"? Peter asks." No no it's not". I say." So um that's how we are gonna do it"? I question changing the subject." Yeah sounds good". Peter says.
