Chapter 34 Remember

Your POV
We get back to the house. As I enter I stand in the front and spread my arms." I missed this place". I say. My dad laughs. I go to the kitchen and see the fridge. I look at the fridge and see pictures of me and my mom." Hey kiddo might want to get some sleep we are gonna go visit Nana tomorrow". My dad says walking in." Okay well I love you goodnight"." Love you too mwah your bag is already in your room". He says.
I walk past him and go to my room. It's slightly smaller. As I'm examining my room I see my luggage. I go over to it and get my pajamas out changing into them. I close my door and turn on my Christmas lights then turn off my bregular lights. I grab my book from the nightstand and read it soon falling asleep.
I wake up peacefully to the sound of birds chirping. As I sit up I see I'm tucked under the covers and my book is back on my nightstand. I rub my eyes and adjust to the nice light shining through my curtains. I grab my phone from the nightstand and see the time. It's 7 in the morning. I lay my phone down and sit up stretching.
   I make my way to my luggage and grab my toothpaste and brush. I go over to the bathroom and brush my teeth. When I'm done I leave my toothbrush in the holder. I exit the bathroom and go to my dads room." Dad wake up". I say turning on the lights." Mm five more minutes". He says groaning. I roll my eyes." Okay well I'm gonna get dressed and if your not awake I'm leaving you".
   I go back to my room and unpack my first outfit. It's a sweatshirt with some tights and a scarf. I put on my clothes then throw on some eyeliner. Once I'm done I get my boots and put them on. Once I get done doing that I pull my hair back.
I make my way to my dads room. He's still not awake. I roll my eyes." Okay well I'm gonna go to Nana's by myself and have her famous pancakes". I say grabbing the keys off his dresser. What I said immediately wakes him." I'm up. I'm up". He says standing up." Well hurry it up". I go to the kitchen and look at the pictures on the fridge.
Finally he's done." Finally your done". I say as he walks through the door." Hey beauty takes time"." Not if you already have it". I say smirking." Oh my let's get going before your Nana has a heart attack". He leads me with his arm around me to the car. I get in the car and get out my phone." Have you texted her". I ask as my dad sits down." Yeah just now". I nod.
   The drive is silent so I decide to turn on some music. There's some soft music then I change it to another station. I listen carefully and hear that it's me and my dads song. I turn to him and he looks at me. The verse comes on and we jam our hearts out.
   The song ends as we pull up to the driveway. Once he comes to a complete stop I hop out the car and hurry to the front door. I knock on the door and wait a little while then it opens." Oh honey you look so beautiful". My nana says as she lets me and my dad in the house.
   My nana examines me." Oh you look like your mom and dad". She says." Yeah both incredibly good looking". My dad says. Me and my nana roll our eyes." Okay well I already started cooking so there's some pancakes and bacon already done". She guides me and my dad to the kitchen. As I sit down my phone buzzes. It's Peter." Um will you excuse me I have to take this". I say standing up and going outside.
                               ~Phone call~
Y- Hey Pete what's up
P- Nothing just wanted to see where you've been
Y- Oh yeah I'm sorry I'm just in Seattle right now but I'll back by tomorrow night
P- Oh okay well do you mind telling me why
Y- I'll tell you when I get home ok
P- Okay fine well I love you
Y- Love you too bye

  I finish talking then go back to the table." So who was that". My dad asks wiping his hands." Oh it was just Peter". I say." You two are becoming serious are you guys dating". He says as I'm taking a sip of my milk I choke on the milk." Ugh". I cough." Dad you are so blind sometimes. We've been dating since I lost my arm". I whisper so my nana won't hear about my arm." Wait really". He asks." Yup". I say. He chuckles to himself then we continue eating.
When we get done we talk with my Nana my dad makes some smarta** comments but we all laugh. It's time for us to go so we say bye then leave the house." So where to next". I ask." Hm where do you want to go". He asks." The space needle"? I suggest." Yeah let's go".
