Chapter 33 Begin

Your POV
I've been trying to fall asleep for the past hour but nothing so I get up and exit the room. I see my dad asleep in an uncomfortable position. I go and nudge him." Hm". He wake up." Dad cmon go to the room". I say helping him up. He walks to the room with me supporting him then he lays on the bed. I pull the cover over him then close the door exiting the room.
I go sit down in a seat and look out the window. I check my phone to see how long we still have. We still have 2 to 3 hours. I lay my head back." Ughhh". I'm a bit hungry right now so I make my way to the mini bar.
I grab myself a soda then go back to my seat and watch some tv. As I'm watching my eyes get heavy and I fall asleep.
~Flashback~
"Momma where is papa". I ask." He's coming tomorrow now get ready we are gonna go to Nana's". My mother says. I put on my boots and grab my little lunchbox filled with my colours and toys." All set cupcake"? My momma asks." Yup". She picks me up and we head to the car." Oh momma when we get home for my birthday can we build snowmen". I ask as she puts me in my car seat." Yeah that sounds fun then when your dad gets here he can make one".
As we drive I stare out the window looking at the pretty trees. I'm still staring at the trees when I hear momma yell. I quickly turn." Momma what's wrong". I ask." Oh nothing cupcake". She says her voice sounding raw." Momma what's wrong". I ask again." I said nothing". She says more mean and she turns to look at me. I look past her and see a big truck." Momma watch out". I yell. She turns back but it's too late. I blackout.

I wake up from whatever that was." Oh hey kiddo good thing your up we are about to land". My dad says. I sit up and look around." Put on your seatbelt". He says. I immediately put on the seatbelt." Hey are you okay". He asks." Yeah I'm fine just sore"." Oh okay well I hope you fell better". He says.
The jet lands and me and my dad hop off getting out with our luggage. It's cold and a snow pillow covers the ground. We walk to our rental car and drive to my old house. My dad parks in front of it. "I'll go put the bags in then we can head to the cemetery". He says." Okay". He hurries up and gets out and puts the luggage in the House then comes back. I bow my head then I feel my dad place his hand on my shoulder." Let's go say hi to mom". He tells me.
   We stop at a flower boutique and grab Echinacea flowers. These flowers can survive the harsh winter times. Just like mom. We get to the cemetery and find mothers grave. I place down 5 flowers and dad places down 5." Oh I left something at the car I'll be right back". My dad says." Okay hurry up". He makes his way back to the car.
   I kneel down and touch the tombstone." I've been having a ruff time mom. This year has been so hectic. Figuring out I have powers. Losing an arm. And now Spider-Man is my boyfriend". I laugh at the end." Time is just getting tougher and rougher was each year your gone. We never got to make those snowmen". A tear falls and steams as it touches the snow.
   I hear footsteps behind me and see it's my dad. I wipe my tears quickly." Hey dad what did you forget". I ask standing up." This". It's a fake ring from like a gumball machine. I give him a questioning face." So the story behind this well when I first met your mother we were young. So we went on our first date at the arcade and I got her this ring and I told her. When we are older and I'm rich I will comeback and change this ring into real gold". He finishes saying." Well did you". I ask as he wraps his arm around me." Yes I did". I look up at him and I see a tear fall from his eye. I pull him closer.
   "Love you momma". I say. Me and dad head back to the car. As he's driving I realized that he's not going the way to the house." Where are we going"?" A surprise". He smirks. I look out the window. We get to the destination. Dad gets out before me and comes and opens my door." M'lady". He says. I laugh and get out of the car. He nudged me with his elbow. I place my hands through his arms and he guides me to a place." So this is where I took your mom when I got her that ring".
    There are fairy lights strung across the place and music playing. I smile." May I have your arm". He asks as he bows down I set down my purse and take his hand. We dance around doing a two step then he spins me. I laugh at the failed spin. We finish dancing." So after I danced with her I took her over here". He guides me to the hut." And I got down on my knee and I told her. I promise to love and cherish you for all of time". He does the motions." Then I pulled out the ring". He pulls out a ring." Is that moms". I ask." Not exactly it's yours". He places the ring on my ring finger." Thank you so much". He stands up and I hug him." Let's get home it's getting late".
